ShortStems, created by Wyndy Sloan in 2017, is a flower design company based on the North Fork of Long Island. The company was started because of Wyndy's passion for flowers, design, and giving back. This local food pantry feeds over 5,000 meals per week to families on the North Fork of Long Island.
In addition to the canned food donations, Wyndy also volunteers to prepare dishes for twice-monthly CAST Dinners, which feed over 100 healthy meals to those in need. The prices are reasonable, and because we put a lot of creativity into dressing up our cans, they are keepsakes that customers can use over and over again.
