I should give this place 0 stars since we didn't get to eat there. We confirmed the reservation twice by responding to the text messages sent by Yelp. We showed up and the place was closed. Could be nice if the place was on top of their game and updated their hours...

Next to FBI building. It is Thai restaurant serving sushi and SE Asian food. Overall strong vinegar spice tastes on dishes...somewhat expensive...they charge service fees with outetting you know, so check your bills...

I went here before the Nutcracker last weekend. I got the spring rolls and the Korean sizzling beef. I also got 2 Mai Tais that were only $6.5 for happy hour. (Must sit at the bar or in the bar area-no big deal). My boyfriend got an appetizer sampler and sushi that was also really low priced for happy hour. He loved it all as well. Definitely come for happy hour it goes from 4-7 mon-sat. We both loved the food and the service was good, we will be back!

Delicious food, great drinks, awesome vibes and location. Highly recommend. Only disappointment was that the curry sauce is pre-made and could not be altered.

The ambiance is fine. It got very crowded right after we got a table. We were able to get in without having made a reservation.
The waiter was not very helpful. Not gracious definitely.
The orange chicken and the spring rolls were superb. Fried noodles were okay, but not what I had in mind. Reasonable priced.

The Singapore fried rice is so flavorful, absolutely one of my favorites! I actually ordered two dishes and took the rest home because I also love crying tiger...... almost ordered kapow on rice too before I had to put some hard limits on myself! I truly enjoy almost every dish on the menu, I know I can bring anyone here and they will enjoy their meal.

I love this place and after more than a decade of eating here (it's near my office) I'm finally writing a review. Not fancy but perfectly civilized for a work lunch, the favorites are always excellent. My faves are pad Thai, pad Seew, Sukothai soup, spring rolls, green curry and the truly amazing crispy orange chicken. It's consistently delicious every time.

Food was good, portions were also good. Medium spicy was super hot. I'm used to spicy food but this was more than what I would call medium. Waiter said you can order not spicy so keep that in mind. But overall it was a good night out.

Nice service, delicious food, central location. We came here because Jaleo was bursting full (it's a Friday night). Much calmer atmosphere here. Friendly service and our order came quickly. The crispy basil duck was great. The portion of their papaya salad is huge; not spicy (in a good way). The three grilled prawns in the salad were very tasty. The tuna tartare was very fresh (on a bed of lettuce).

I pretty much only order one thing from Asia Nine (their avocado sushi), but have ordered it embarrassingly often because it's so solid and dependable. Super fresh avocado, great rice, and really friendly service! It's priced a tad higher than other sushi spots nearby, but for the convenience and reliability, I'll keep coming back.

This used to be my go to place for Japanese food, I really enjoyed their teriyaki, much has changed. I dont mind the higher prices due to inflation, I get it. Chicken teriyaki is very different from the past, very dry and low quality now. I will not be ordering from here ever again.

Friend raved about the orange chicken and sushi and took me to try both.

Ordered shrimp tempura roll and soft shell crab roll initially. They were both good.

We were told that the "fresh lemonade" drink was fresh when asked. It was not fresh lemonade and tasted like crystal light.

For entrees ordered Korean Beef that comes w rice and papaya salad --it was tough and had an unfresh flavor. Literally spat it out in napkin. Sent it back.

Orange chicken was initially cold. Asked for warm version. It was crunchy and very very sweet. Friend said it was nothing like the tender

My fiancé and I went here with a friend from out of town and 3 other friends on a Saturday night. The place was quite empty which is sad for what is usually prime time dining. Perhaps it is more of a business and tourist spot. It is quite surprising that they are still in existence while other places in the neighborhood had a lot of people sitting outside and we did not see any outdoor dining here.

The food is quite good, especially the sushi and the two rolls were specials but may have been the Tuna Kimchi Rolls Spicy Seared Salmon Roll. The Grilled Salmon Udon was pretty good, but not quite

I've been going here for 3 years. Foods worth the price and fairly authentic (but never crazy)- thai stuff really is great, sushi is great... highly recommend. Always have great service and they've never got an order wrong. I highly recommend everything there as I have not had anything that has been bad, ever! It honestly doesn't even make sense that they only have a 3.5 here.. because I consider myself a snob with food and only have wonderful things to say.

Came here for happy hour and had a good experience. It was very big inside so all customers were spread out. They had tables outside but it wasn't set up yet. I asked if it was possible to sit outside and the waitress said no. Happy hour includes 2 rolls for $10 so I did the spicy tuna with cucumber and salmon with avocado. Both delicious and fresh. Nothing extraordinary but tasty for the price. Seaweed salad was on point and Kirin beer was $4. I would come back again for happy hour.

We are traveling from California and are obviously sushi and Asian cuisine lovers. What this place was I don't know. I've never seen a Tom yum served in a CUP SIZED SERVING. Sushi tastes better at your local grocery store. If they worked on the sushi I would give it more stars and get it together, Tom yum or Tom Ka are not served in cup sized dishes.

Absolutely love their happy hour! Great cocktails and tasty food options for a nice price. Their main menu portions are very large; easily can share a meal or have leftovers. The crab fried rice is definitely worth trying! I enjoy their sushi but I feel like the nigiri could be fresher. Today, I found myself not finishing pieces of my sushi because the fish was too chewy. Hard to explain but it wasn't as good as I've had. They're on top of their covid restrictions, I felt safe dining in. I've also ordered from home and picked it up and it still was as good as having it fresh

Good happy hour drink and food specials. Plenty of tables inside even with Covid-19 restrictions. Sushi was ok and so was the chicken teriyaki. All the regular menu options plus plenty of drink and cocktails. Nothing stood out so we'll be trying more asian places before setting on this one.

We got delivery and almost everything was just fine. The Korean beef was mediocre, and my fiancé said he wouldn't get it again. My sushi was fine. The spring rolls were good, but what do you expect from fried food? The mango sticky rice was enjoyable, but not anything special or a reason to order from here.

The chive dumplings were not good at all. Literally just chives stuffed into a dumpling, and we didn't care for the sauce either. I did enjoy the pickles that came with both appetizers though!

For the price, the food is not worth it. BUT I have dined in here, and the ambiance

Asia Nine is the best, if you are considering eating here - please do! They have a take out business during COVID-19 times and the food is AMAZING. We order from here once a week if not more - please support your local business and order from Asia Nine. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu, we love the pad thai and Asia Nine lo mein, and portion sizes are very large. They also have a great happy hour deal.

I went to Asia Nine with a few friends on a Friday night and was seated immediately. We tried the spicy crunchy tuna and salmon rolls, and the eel avocado roll. They were all very tasty! I would say that the rolls tasted like many other decent sushi rolls I have had in the past. However, what was different was the crunchy and spicy coating around the spicy crunchy rolls which gave the sushi a pleasant kick!

Note that you will charged $1 extra for ordering additional spices with your sushi.

The staff was very respectful and helpful throughout the visit! Lovely and clean establishment overall

Had the salmon teriyaki box for lunch. It included a salad and soup. Both the soup and salad were very good. The soup had flavor and the salad gonger dressing was good.
The box itself had the salmon (overcooked), two wontons (good), 3 pieces of bite size sushi (fresh and good), fruit (pineapple sweet and cantaloupe tasteless), and fried rice (big portion but very mild flavor). I ate nearly everything except the rice and chose to bring it home to make some shrimp fried rice the next day.
Service was good
It's a solid 3.5 star but I am rounding up. I would come here again.

Guys- we decided to try some local flavour after jetting from Hard Rock due to lack if service up the road and glad we did. The Happy Hour is phenomenal in addition to the service. We split 4 rolls for about ten bucks, delicious and fresh, along with some apps and edamame. The crispy shrimp roll was excellent, and the crab wanton was amazing.

Her, you can order any drift for $4.00 between 4 and 8, and mixed drinks and martinis for bery low cost. As you can see by the pice, a variety of drinks that definately did not skimp on the alcohol. Guys, DC us an amazing place, and this is a local resto
