McCary's Jewelers opened 75 years ago in a rented space shared with a local Barber Shop at 410 Milam Street in Downtown Shreveport. With $500 and some loaned jewelry equipment, the McCary's family started what was primarily a watch sales and repair business, the main stock and trade of the early 1940's.

This facility was recommended by a friend and I'm so happy that she did. McCary's Jewelers are AMAZING!!! They welcomed with with smiles and great advise on what to do to my 15 year old wedding ring and band. They had my ring ready super fast and I cannot describe how happy I am with the results. I just want to give the biggest shout out to the AMAZING PEOPLE at McCary's!! From the moment I walked in the door I was greeted and treated with the upmost respect! I dropped my ring off to be sized and got it back in such a timely manner. There was an issue with one of the diamonds being a little loose, so they fixed it within the day! I could not of asked for a better jeweler. I see myself doing the rest of my fine jewelry shopping here!

I'm very happy with the experience I had this weekend at McCary's! I needed last minute engraving and a necklace to go with it. Though they had kind of a list of other engraving orders, I told them what I needed it for and they told me if I could come in before a certain time, they would finish the job by 4PM. When I showed up, Miles helped me pick out the necklace (which was perfect). It took all of 30 minutes to get the call back that they were done. The final product was BEAUTIFUL!

I went in after work, about 20 minutes to closing, and needed a bent ring straightened back out. I always feel awful about going in to a business right before they close, but the ladies at the front were so sweet and took the ring right back to the jeweler who fixed it within minutes. I have been in a lot of jewelry stores and even been a repeat customer and still not been shown that kind of customer service as I did as a first time walk-in here. They will be getting my business from now on.
