I would never recommend Middlefield. They’ve never provided a care plan or included me in her care conferences, which should be happening quarterly. They go through exec directors every few months. My calls are only returned about 25% of the time, even when urgent issues arise.
Beds aren’t made. Hair isn’t brushed. Basic care goes missed.
To get any kind of help you’re gonna have to rely on your case manager with Lane Co Senior & Disability Services (SDS). Facilities are legally required to update care plans every 6 months. You can make formal complaints with SDS if you’re not getting

If I could give less than one star I would. All they care about is money, if your elderly loved ones don't have that they would care for them. They are in effect going to kick my dad out in the near future by increasing his rent to an amount he cannot afford. If you actually care about your elderly relative find somewhere else.

Saul staff being disrespectful to residence and not helping them when they needed help on Christmas day and the only thing that they gave them residence for Christmas day was a sack lunch you got to be kidding me people we should be able to do something more than give our family members a sack lunch for Christmas day

My mother has lived here several years now and like a lot of private businesses their bottom line takes precedence over quality care. They basically give bare bones services, have a high turnover staff rate, food is generally bland without much imagination and my mother is not able to get a bath on a regular bases. They need a better quality of staff who genuinely care about the elderly and are willing to listen!!!
