Executive Director -I have been an Oregon licensed Assisted Living Administrator/Executive Director for the past 20 years. It is a career that I "fell" into, but found that this is my heart and passion, and am blessed to serve this population and industry everyday! I moved to Roseburg, Oregon from California in 1973, where both my daughters were born and raised.
It's a wellness-focused lifestyle that is dedicated to positive aging and well-being for mind, body and soul. It's a life encouraging individuality, providing residents with the opportunity to define how they want to live. Residents are free to enjoy their independence living in our senior apartments, without the maintenance and worries associated with home ownership.

My mother-in-law has been at Em Valley for several years now. She loves it. The activity director (Jo) is amazing -- truly a friend. Everyone keeps an eye out and communicates really well when a need is present. They have the interest and comfort of the residents in mind. The location is great for us. I think it's really good for the residents, too, especially with the new active transportation corridor on East/West Amazon. We see a good friend that is a resident there walking all the time around the neighborhood. It's perfect for those who like to get out or stay in.
