Parking is available for all our guests; you will be surprised and satisfied with how close our location is by the beach. If Mom or Dad forgot to back the sand toys don't worry about it, come into the office and we will let you borrow some! Rooms are equipped with either a kitchen or kitchenette or a mini-refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot.

By far the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. We stayed in August. I don't understand how this place has such good reviews. No one was at the front desk for check in or check out. I've never stayed a night anywhere in such a decrepit condition. Floors, walls, furniture, ceilings, everything needs replacement and renovation.
The place smelled so much like dogs. The only thing I could do to tolerate it was to run the box fan all night long.
One of the pillows appeared to still have some mascara on it, so it felt like the linens weren't clean.

My wife and I love this place. We have only stayed in the cottages. Staying in the cottages gives you a home-type feel. Since we have been here several times, we usually stop by Safeway and buy groceries to cook on our way in town. We have five kids, so going to restaurants is never the highlight of our day... although ordering pizza is typically our first option. We love this place because the beach is one block away, you walk up a street for 1 minute, and you are there. Another plus is you are in the middle of down, so everything is within walking distance. This place is amazing. Sad that it only has a 4.5 star review.because it deserves way more.its pet friendly and not only pet friendly they give your dog a dog bowl and doggy towel. They have treats in the office for them.they also have a little library out front .so you can grab a book to read.the rooms are very nice and clean.and close distance to the beach .it was a amazing stay. And the front desk lady was very very nice.we will be back again.

It was a lot older looking than the pictures showed, and the rooms looked like they were cheaply updated. On the positive side, staff is very friendly and outgoing. They carried all of our luggage and cooler to our second floor room when we arrived and carried it all back down when we left. Walking distance to beach and restaurants. Parking was a challenge.

Ruth and staff were so gracious during our stay always saying hello and asking how our day was . She works so hard, always making sure everyone is happy and well taken care of. Our room was clean and quiet. Bed was very comfy. Location was perfect , walking distance to everything . She even knew our dog by her first name ;) We would stay here again just because the staff was so nice . Thank you!

This was the worst motel experience we've ever had. We got a room for one night, the lady that checked us in smelled like she hadn't showered in weeks. Really off putting... that should have been our first red flag, because the rooms were just as dirty. Our 1 year old crawled on the room floor for less than 5 minutes and ended up with dirty knees and feet.. like gross dirty, filthy grime. The lights were flickering like they have some sort of electrical issues which was really annoying and worrisome. The curtains were half falling off the walls. The blankets on the beds only go half way up, otherwise

Ruth, Amber and Erica are super sweet and very accommodating.
The day I left Ruth called to let me know a blanket was left behind (my favorite fleece blanky) I tell her just to keep it, but she offered to mail it to me...that's GREAT service. Thank you Hillcrest, my Family and I had a wonderful time. ❤❤❤

This was hands down the best little place to stay!!! The staff were above and beyond helpful and friendly! We had a wonderful weekend! We were able to do everything we wanted to do within walking distance. The whole place has an "at home" feel, the beds were cozy and comfortable and the TV was a smart TV so I could use Netflix or any other streaming app I wanted. There are games, movies and FREE snacks in the office. I can't wait to come back!!

Not sure why this place has so many great reviews. This is mainly why I chose this place to stay with my family while in Seaside. I clearly didn't look at the reviews thoroughly enough. The room was dirty. The bed had sand and crumbs of some sort all over it. The bed was stained and so were the sheets. The door didn't properly lock. It was a really sketchy place to stay. I'd recommend not staying here if you like a clean environment! Thank goodness we at least got a refund.
