I can’t say enough about this hotel. The staff and notably, Wes, were amazing. They went up and beyond to make our stay everything we wanted and more. The bikes were amazing, they were new and we rode them every day. They supplied umbrellas and everything you needed.
The breakfast, did I mention the breakfast?! It was gourmet and not a traditional hotel breakfast. From overnight oats, to spinach and feta croissants, homemade muffins, fresh berries and so much more. Warm cookies in the afternoon.
We loved it all —- 5 out of 5!

Spent a very enjoyable few days here during the off season. Very comfortable and home-like 1 bedroom suite, with 2 TVs, gas fireplace that provided a lot of heat as well as ambiance, and a large, comfortable deck with comfortable furnishings and a table under an overhang for weather protection while enjoying a great harbor view. Staff (Shereen was always available and helpful, staying on site even when not at front desk) was great; made things easy when we needed to leave early due to ferry/weather issues. We will be back again, and recommend them enthusiastically.

The hotel was nice, the staff was great, the location is really nice - BUT the rooms are not worth the price. Value is way off. We had a “cozy king room” the whole main room is the bed. No seating anywhere. No room for A chair. And a tiny bathroom. The door to the bathroom didn’t shut at all. The door frame was out of Wack. So if you stay there be prepared for a TINY ROOM. I mean tiny

The staff welcomed us back and remembered us from last year. They are so friendly are really feels like visiting old friends. We had our two beloved Boston terriers with us and the suite was right at the top of the stairs by the side door. Very convenient. Felt very safe in these times of COVID. Yummy breakfast boxes with hot coffee delivered every morning. What a wonderful place for a get away. Walking distance to everything. Can’t wait to visit again.

Stayed here roughly four years ago and I'm just getting around to this review. The rooms were very cozy and the historic value seemed evident throughout, especially in the hallways. Breakfast was small but adequate. The entire stay felt very cozy while I was there, the location was great, and the staff were very friendly. If I remember correctly, bike rentals were available too! Overall, price is high for most people but is rather average for the area. Would recommend.

My family reserved a Luxury King Suite during the off season and we LOVED it. The property and room were gorgeous! As there is no central air conditioning, this particular suite had two Mitsubishi ac/heating units mounted on walls and crank out windows (bedroom, bathroom, suite). The room had a fully equipped kitchenette including dishwasher.
Since it was off season, the highly recommended restaurant was closed but there were several other places to enjoy meals and drinks.
My wife and I took took a nice stroll through town and ended up at the lighthouse.
I do want to inform:
