Take two hours to enjoy a classic Vineyard evening. We'll head out in a luxury Oak Bluffs Land and Wharf transit vans-our first stop will be at the package store to choose your beverages. Sit back and relax with your beverage of choice while your driver gives you an Island tour. Arriving in Menemsha, get ready for an authentic Vineyard clam bake at Larsen's-lobster, clam chowder, and clam cakes; or the perfect lobster roll.
Enjoy a historic tour of Martha's Vineyard with our sister company, Oak Bluffs Land and Wharf Co. Martha's Vineyard is a small island with a big history. From its timeless architecture, famous whaling ships and captains, to its pristine beaches and geologic marvels, there is a story behind it all. Our local tour guides, in conjunction with the Martha's Vineyard Museum, know the history behind all the beauty.
As part of your stay here at the Dockside, you'll have access to Loomis, our virtual concierge! Loomis is ready to text with you and share his wealth of Martha's Vineyard knowledge. Loomis is a living-breathing Islander who can answer any question you text him- from the practical, "Where do I catch the bus?" to the Islander insider, "Where's the best celebrity watching?" to the whimsical "How many sheep live on the Vineyard?"

I loved my stay here and would not ever think of going somewhere else when I revisit. Impeccably clean and happy staff. Plus, at your disposal, coffee with all the fixings, fruit, yogurt, cereal, milk, malted milk balls, popcorn, chips!! Did I miss anything?? Yes, coolers, chairs and towels for the beach with all the ice you need. ~Sledge...🤣💖

Great place to stay...a lot of amenities...nice kitchenette on the first floor...even had ice cream!! They arranged for us to watch the sunset in Menemchca(? Spelling) provided chairs and small bottles of champagne...lovely drive getting there but the beach was VERY crowded

Dockside Inn is one of the best places to stay in Martha’s Vineyard. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Oak Bluffs, within walking distance to everything! The rooms are gorgeous and comfortable. The amenities are wonderful- free snacks, use of any and all beach gear including towels, chairs, umbrellas and coolers. Most of all the staff are fantastic. Helpful, pleasant and very knowledgeable about Martha’s Vineyard.

Great place to stay! The friendly like home atmosphere. My family had three rooms for the weekend and loved the experience. Conveniently located close to the ferry dock made it easy to get to. The little extras like the beach equipment, towels, and the cookies were a nice surprise. The free snack bar was also much appreciated. I would give the Dockside ***** five stars and will definitely be back!

My friends and I had an incredible time at the Dockside Inn. During our stay the staff was helpful, courteous and insightful as to how to the make the most out of the trip. Our rooms were spotless and the amenities provided like the hot tub and Beach shed helped us get take full advantage of MV while still packing light. The Dockside was a minute walk away from a gorgeous beach and a stumble away from all the good bars in town. A big shoutout to the front desk workers and manager for making the trip such a memorable time. Can't wait to go back (if we can find any availability)!

My girlfriends family and I stayed here for a weekend getaway for her parents 30th anniversary and it was amazing! The people who own and run it are very friendly and the accomodations they provide (free breakfast, free beachware to take to the beach, hot tub, fresh baked cookies everyday) are awesome. Would definitely recommend staying here!!!
