Our experience and extensive research tell us that children require, and learn best, through rich play provided by caring adults with whom they feel safe, understood and respected. We believe in a child's abilities. We consider them extraordinary people. We listen to them, getting to know them as individuals, and valuing their trust in us.

We meet them where they are, and teach them directly based on our knowledge of them. We support them by providing opportunities for achievement and failure so they can evaluate, re-evaluate, absorb and grow. We Believe in play-based learning because every child deserves to wonder, experiment, question, dance, discover, pretend, and create every day.

A stroll through Kidspace reveals light-filled, joyful learning environments, where children and teachers alike are actively engaged. For over 20 years, Kidspace co-owners Sharon and Kathy have carefully developed their vision for providing an intentional, caring, child-centered community. Together they offer over 75 years of education and experience to Kidspace.
It is our belief that children develop skills to thrive, grow and learn when their days are filled with many play opportunities and peer interactions. While we consider ourselves a play-based program; our philosophies, learning materials and provocations, curriculum, teacher-child relationships, teacher observations, and classroom environments also align with cognitive-based programs.
Our goal at KIDSPACE Child Enrichment Center is to provide a rock-solid foundation for years of joyful learning. We believe learning should be joyful, not only today, but also tomorrow and all the tomorrows to come. We use. a variety of instructional approaches that are multisensory, engaging, and honor children's diverse learning styles.
Our newest learning component for our older cohorts, nature school is an exciting outdoor program that focuses on nature exploration and play. Students spend extended time twice a week at Orchards West Park, exploring a specified area and engaging in nature-based projects. Students develop an appreciation for the natural world while increasing gross motor, science, math and literacy skills.
Preparing children for the rigors of kindergarten and their future education is vitally important. But what does kindergarten readiness look like for children? Research substantiates that one of the principal keys to preparing children for academia is by giving them rich early childhood experiences in a joyful community of peers where it is safe to both fail and triumph.

We are so thankful to have found Kidspace for our son’s kindergarten year- especially during COVID. The owners and teachers put our minds at ease about safety precautions related to the pandemic and we were absolutely pleased and impressed with the quality care and education they gave our son daily. The incredible kindergarten teachers are able to focus on each student, tailoring the curriculum to meet individual needs and the small class size fostered true friendships between the students.
I can’t say enough how thankful we were to have our son enrolled at Kidspace for kindergarten- not only

We have had the most incredible experience at Kidspace Child Enrichment Center!
My daughter started her preschool journey at Kidspace when she was 3 years old, continued into pre-K, joined the Summer program, and is now part of their first ever Kindergarten class. The teachers are so passionate about helping the children grow and learn, and they truly care about the children and families who attend. It is hard for me to put into words how wonderful this place is, but I will do my best to express how lucky we feel to have been part of the Kidspace family for the past few years.

Our son has been going to kids space for about a year. We have been able to see him grow in ways we didn’t think were possible! This school not only does an amazing job at teaching kids hands on academics but they teach them personal life skills too. Iv never in my life met a group of people who treat children the way they do. From the moment you walk in the door EVERY single teacher knows your child. They talk to them with such importance and compassion, they get on your child’s level and truly love them as if they were their own. We are blessed to have one more year of spoiling before kindergarten

My son just graduated from here and is on to kindergarten. The staff here was just so amazing and kind. They really put in the effort to help each child individually. My son’s growth throughout his time here was incredible to watch. Miss T and Miss L in particular were always so patient and nurturing with him. When we had trouble at drop off with him not wanting me to leave they went above and beyond helping him feel welcome and safe there. I love this place. I will recommend it everyone I meet needing childcare.

My kids have all been at Kidspace from April till June (when my daughters started). After two less than great experiences at other centers, I did my research. I found Kidspace and fell in love with the staff instantly. They only have genuine people who work here. My kids race to the door when we arrive. I'm impressed with their staff and the curriculum. They have truly impacted my life and my children in a way I can't even describe. My kids feel loved and valued there, with constant praise from their teachers. The director is doing something amazing here. She's making my kids lives fun, and she

If I could give more then five stars, I 100% would! My daughter attended Kidspace for, four years and loved each and every minute she was there! Their curriculum is by far some of the best I've ever witnessed and their staff goes above and beyond to make it that way. I have loved every teacher she's had! They become like family and that makes you very comfortable knowing who your child is being cared by every day. The only reason she stopped going is because she started kindergarten and I became a stay at home mom so child care was no longer needed. I highly recommend this facility to anyone in

We can't say enough wonderful things about KidSpace. Our daughter started out in their summer program last year and then was a Chickadee last year and now a Robin. We love all of the teachers and the owners are wonderful. My daughter doesn't want to leave most days! She learns so much and teaches me new things too. We toured so many daycares before putting her at Kidspace. As soon as we walked in we felt very comfortable and knew we had found the place for us.

I can not say enough wonderful things about the staff, in every age group they have selected loving, educated, and overall wonderful people to work for them; and care for our children. We've have two children go to kidspace and have experienced all the ciriculums they offer for each age group. Each one is appropriate and presented with such care. My sons come home and can't wait to tell me what they learned; and I'm excited to hear about how it was presented to them (so creative, most the time they don't realize they are learning, they think it is just play time). We have previously used 4 other

Besides the great facility, which is void of televisions and automated gadgets and full of equipment and toys that spark imagination and physical activity, I have been very impressed with the staff at KIDSPACE. All of my kids’ teachers have seemed to intuitively understand that my husband and I are our children’s first and most important teachers and seek to support us in that role, rather than replace us. To that end, academics have been a wonderful part of both the preschool and summer care programs, but not the only part. I consider my children’s education to be my responsibility, so I

What a wonderful place to watch my children thrive! We adore Ms. Ginger and Ms. Julie and everyone that works with them. Kathy and Sharon (the owners) have tremendous experience. They are still passionate about preschoolers, which is refreshing, since it seems so many people in the field burn out. They practice methods from reggio emilia, which is a very well balanced and kid-centered philosophy. The space is fantastic! It is the best gym I have ever seen in a preschool.
I firmly believe my children are getting the highest quality education they can get in preschool, in Vancouver, and I can afford
