This notice describes how the company receives personal health information from Covered Entities and Business Associates (BA). How the information is stored, transmitted, used, and is protected. Advanced Medical Equipment ("AME") is required to maintain the privacy of your Protected Health Information ("PHI") and to provide you with a notice of our legal duties and privacy practices with respect to PHI.
Advanced Medical Equipment is accredited and a Supplier of DMEPOS for services provided in the Orange and Los Angeles County areas. In order to receive equipment through Medicare fee-for-service (FFS) program, items must be medically necessary and ordered by a Physician, Physician's Assistant (PAs), or Nurse Practitioner (NPs).
This is an abbreviated version of the supplier standards every Medicare DMEPOS supplier must meet in order to obtain and retain their billing privileges. A supplier must be in compliance with all applicable Federal and State licensure and regulatory requirements. 2. A supplier must provide complete and accurate information on the DMEPOS supplier application.
