Lived here for over 4 years. Loved the apartment - spacious, plenty of storage, and perfect for 2-3. Rent was a little high and seems to vary. However, It is a nice area to live, dog park on premises for puppy play time, great area for walking, lake front has a gourmet pizza restaurant with great view, and a-direct access to highway for commuting.
Where this rental fails is in the management staff. Phone calls and emails to the management office are not responded to in an efficient time frame IF at all. Often spoken to in a condescending manner by the property manager. She has often been witnessed

We love living at Emerald place! We have lived here for 3 years and only are leaving because I will be starting school in the summer. The apartments are spacious and beautiful, and we have rarely needed maintenance (when we do they have been helpful). If you have a dog, this area is very dog friendly (although unfortunately many owners don’t clean up after their dogs- not the complex’s fault as they provide may bag and trash stations). We never hear our neighbors but we are on a third floor end unit. The lake can have some strange people at night, but the community itself is very safe. Pam

We lived both in the ones along Lake Whalom and the apt style ones on Carousel lane, both were terrific. Never thought I would say it but life there is so good I now prefer it to owning. very well built and designed out. the people who work there are outstanding in every way, helpful and they get it done. Easy and handy to park your cars, the snow removal is the best I have ever seen. I was last there during the very harsh winter of 2017-18, and in spite of all the freezing weather and storms they had my whole lake walking route clear and walkable by early afternoon.

Have lived here for 3 years and cannot say enough good about it! The first thing that stood out was how very friendly everyone was. The first week while out walking the dog, people walking would strike up a conversation or drive by and wave! We didn't even know them!
I continue to be thoroughly impressed with and grateful for this place - the neighbors, the staff, and the community. Emerald Place is the best living experience I've ever had, hands down. I've rented before, owned a house for 25 years and now I'm here. I couldn't be happier. I feel safer than in my older, safe neighborhood with all of the locks and assurances of modern security. Emerald Place gives me absolutely everything I want and need and more. From the first night here I've slept soundly. That brings up another thing. It's so quiet! We never hear our neighbors at all. They all havedogs, but they either never bark or the insulation is that great! Maintenance is top notch! It isn't often that I need them,

Great place to live! I'm not sure what's up with the lesser star reviews but Emerald Place has been nothing but a fantastic place to live. The staff is amazing, from the office to maintenance, they get things done very, very quickly.
This is the place to rent especially if you have pets, great for walking and there are waste stations all throughout the complex.
All and all, the community and location plus high quality apartments (I've lived in both the villa and garden style/flats) are bar none the best you can get in the area.
