Much of this information comes from Abram English Brown's History of the Town of Bedford (1891), as well as other sources such as The Bedford Sampler Bicentennial Edition containing Daisy Pickman Oakley's articles, Bedford Vital Records, New England Historical and Genealogical Register, Town Directories, and other publications from the Bedford Historical Society.

Our story begins in 1630 with the arrival of John Winthrop and Thomas Dudley of the Massachusetts Bay Company. Aboard the Arabella from Yarmouth, England, Winthrop and Dudley sailed, and after a difficult ten week voyage, they landed on the shores of the New World, with Salem and Boston harbor being the Arabella's earliest destinations.

Tucked back on a peaceful cul-de-sac, move right into this bright & sunny Adams model with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms! Gleaming, newly refinished wood floors welcome you at the grand entry and continue into the sun-drenched living room with fireplace, tall windows and skylights gracing the cathedral ceiling.
Centrally located on the 298 acres of scenic Huckins Farm, adjacent to the mid nineteenth century farmhouse, is our Equestrian Center. The equestrian ambiance establishes Huckins Farm as a unique concept community prized by horse and nature lovers. The Huckins Farm Equestrian Center boasts a 22 stall stable available for homeowners and private boarders.

Beautiful neighborhood enclosed by Dudley Rd. on my Concord / Carlisle Farm Bike Tour. Horse stables and equestrian crossings all along the street. Not a farm you can go in and visit but it's a really nice ride. Semi paved rough road but all types of bikes can handle it with no problems.

We moved from a very large house on over 3 acres of land in Lexington to Huckins Farm and we love this house even more than our custom built, architect designed house.
We love the beauty of the setting and the wonderful design of the house plus all the friendly neighbors. Couldn't ask for more.
