We welcome the most creative and friendly artists to work with us. Although we're a custom shop, we do have some flash, hand drawn and by various artists, available by request.
Our specialty is creating original artwork for each of our clients. We're open 7 days a week for your convenience. Walk-ins are available everyday with our resident artists - Mike, Clay and Sonya. Tegan and Kelly are hardworking moms so they tattoo only by request. If you want work by them you must fill out the contact form on this site.

Services
Tegan is an award winning, published tattoo artist for almost 25 years. She is the co-owner of 5 Monkeys Tattoo, supermom of 2 and a breast cancer survivor. In her spare time she enjoys music, trapeze yoga, spa days, cooking, motorcycles, the beach, kayaking, and painting. She's worked all around the country including Florida, the USVI, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, California, New York, and Delaware.
Unfortunately she was struck by a motorist while on the back of a motorcycle and was killed instantly. She is survived by her husband and four children, Annabel, Jamison, Wally, and Finley. Mike "Bones" Cabello has been tattooing since 2011. His main passion in life has always been tattooing. Mike Bones has previously worked in NYC and Northern NJ, but came up to New Hampshire with his wife to raise his two children. Mike is here for all your tattoo needs; lettering, geometric, watercolor, neo-traditional, traditional, and realism tattoos.
It can take up to a week for us to get back to you so for immediate assistance please call the shop. Sonya is the newest addition to our team. She began her journey with us in July of 2019 learning the trade and absorbing as much information as possible. Before coming to 5 Monkeys Sonya graduated manga cum laude from Plymouth State University with a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies - Art and Psychology; with a minor in Photography.

I was in contact with Sonya late July and had scheduled to have my desired design done in October. I sent her a variety of wolf tattoo ideas I had in mind and was open to her feedback and what she thought. I did not receive any sketches on her end, just told me she would be able to do what I sent her if I had picture examples. Nonetheless, I narrowed my options down to 2 wolf illustrations that were similar and sent that over over a month ahead of my appointment and is told I should be all set.

Sonya is an absolutely amazing tattoo artist! She works within her scope and level of expertise, and is overall great to work with. Sonya! She's awesome! I've had a few sittings with her. The leaves are a coverup on a poor decision I made in my 20's. The cross isn't her work but the flowers are. She also did my super pretty butterfly. I have another appointment booked with her next month. She's been very honest with me about what will and won't look good and I trust her judgment 100%. I had some questions after the sessions and her and her assistant were very fast to respond. I cannot wait for my next session with her!!

Got a tattoo from Sonya yesterday! She is awesome and extremely talented. I really like 5 Monkeys. I was there a while back and got a tattoo from Tegan (the owner) as well. I would highly recommend both artists and this studio in general. Friendly, good value, great location, clean, etc.

I tried to call them on the phone and ask a couple questions they were extremely rude and hung up on me. Not everybody has a Facebook or Instagram and can access the web. If someone calls with questions a company should be willing to answer them and help the customer, but I felt like I was being an inconvenience. I know they have great artists there but they should work on their customer service.

Kelly is AMAZING!! I'll never go to anyone else for a tattoo. She's super cool, has an incredible "bedside manner," and truly is an artist. Make a plan, let her draw it and then set her free to work her magic. She added perfect subtle nuances as we went along that I never would've thought of and it came out fantastic! Put your faith in this lady - she has the years and the creativity to make me feel completely comfortable.

Went for my Friday the 13th $31 special and got a quick dog paw. I am excited to have Tegan draw up something to spice up my semicolon tattoo.
I will be back soon when I can have more done.
The line was out the door from opening to way past close for this special. We could pick from one of the posted art pieces.
They really prefer cash but will take a credit card for an extra fee.

I went in on Friday the 13th for their $31 flash tattoos. There was a long wait but it was definitely worth it. Even though the line was consistently out the door they made sure every ones tattoos were done well and properly. Everyone who worked there was in a good mood and kind. Kelly did an excellent job with my little piece, I will definitely be returning for a larger piece soon.
