Jenny Ventura graduated from Northeastern University with a Criminal Law Degree. She was given the opportunity to work on the domestic violence & sexual assault unit at the Cambridge Police Department. There is when she discovered her love to work with at-risk communities effected by violence. She created a clinical leadership program within the Cambridge Ridge & Latin High School in providing confidential counseling.

In 2004 she decided to enrich her education in being able to continue her path of mental health independence she graduated in 2004 with a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology. After serving as an intern with Somerville Hospital Adolescent Unit, Harvard University Sexual Assault Hotline and Cambridge City Women Union she landed a job at Norwood's Riverside Crisis Stabilization & Respite Unit as the Director or Crisis Services.

At Mind & Body Behavioral Health and Counseling Center, we are devoted to making sure you have the best of the best attention, care, and support. The effects of stress related to managing life during a pandemic can be challenging, but there are healthy steps you can make. We may have feelings of fear, anger, sadness, worry, numbness, irritability, confusion or frustration.
This includes clients who may feel uncomfortable, embarrassed, or ashamed to see a therapist in person, but have relationships impacted by sexual/physical abuse, substance abuse, eating disorders, divorce, infidelity, and misc. Online Therapy helps military couples strengthen their relationship. Couples need help with handling conflicts and managing their emotions related to returning home.
Many kids need help dealing with school stress; such as homework, test anxiety, bullying, or peer pressure. Others need help to discuss their feelings about family issues, particularly if there's a major transition, such as a divorce, move, or serious illness.

Significant life events - such as the death of a family member, friend, or pet; divorce or a move; abuse; trauma; a parent leaving on military deployment; or a major illness in the family - can cause stress that might lead to problems with behavior, mood, sleep, appetite, and academic or social functioning.In some cases, it's not as clear what's caused a child to suddenly seem withdrawn, worried, stressed, sulky, or tearful.
