Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker announced that the state's mask mandate is changing based on the new CDC guidance. With this announcement, we require customers to wear face coverings upon indoor entry, regardless of vaccination status. Anytime you leave your table, we ask that you wear your face covering. There currently is no requirement while dining outside on our patio, unless you come inside for any reason. While the weather holds up, we plan on having Johnnie Miller playing every Friday on our Patio for the month of September from 6pm-9pm! The show is FREE for all our patio guests! Village inn Pizzeria was a staple of Skokie for over 20 years, but unfortunately the place is not what it used to be. Hopefully they can get back on track if the management ever decides to bring this place up to speed.

Today I learned that there is such a thing as too much garlic. We ordered a spinach and garlic pizza (which is a common order in our house), and I had to scrape most of the garlic to even make this mildly edible (pic included!). The pizza as it was served was inedible.
Since I have to give one star; I guess at least I can say the delivery of my garlic bomb was prompt 🤷🏼♀️

Have been coming for many years and have never had an issue eating in restaurant. We have ordered a handful of times now over the last year and have yet to have a good experience. The lady at the front desk always has an attitude and gets frustrated when we have ask to add to our order or when we ask any questions for that matter. It shouldn't be an issue to treat people with basic respect and kindness.

I’ve been coming here since you were knee high to a grasshopper. Even though the iconic Randy has sold the place, the new owner,Dezi, hasn’t changed a thing. God bless him. Bring your lover and/or your friends and relax. Enjoy yourselves. Have one of their dozens of various beers and enjoy a wonderful slice of pizza OR have a full course lunch or dinner. I love this place - always have, always will.
The place has one of the greatest round bars this side of Bangor Main or Portland Main for that matter. It’s a full service bar, so Have a drink on me. Just kidding. Pay for your own.
