Katie has almost two decades of daycare experience as a teacher, director and running a family daycare center. She also has a BA in marketing and management from the Art Institute of Charlotte. Hello, my name is Ms Katie and I am the owner of Beansprout Academy. I am originally from Ohio and studied Early Childhood Education at Bowling Green State University.

This place is poorly ran and the teachers are left to do the best they can with the resources given. The majority of the teachers are there because they love working with the children but many are there because of discounted childcare. Most are high school grads with experience from babysitting or being a big sister. Not college degrees or true childcare experience.
If you need anything or have any questions, the owner, Katie, will promise over and over she’ll call but never does. And she doesn’t go into the locations either. So your complaints or concerns fall on deaf ears. I never even received

My children both go to Beansprout Academy of Fort Mill and we simply love it! From the food Chev Kev prepares to the communication with Miss Cay and Susan up front keeping us in the loop with Covid! We are in the Sweet Potatoes room and Green Bean room and can't say enough about the teachers love for our babies. Anything we ever needed or had questions about was answered professionally and honestly and I do admire the transparency that everyone there has! they are so whole hearted if you need ANYTHING you can always ask them. If you are looking for a place to love your children like their own this

We’ve been at one other daycare in the past in which my kids were constantly sick. Since switching to Beansprout Academy my children have been significantly healthier and happier. The teachers, and Cay and Susan are amazing. They love your babies like their own and make the facility feel like a family. I think one of my favorite things other than the yummy healthy food they provide and the great staff would be the instant updates through their app. The app allows you to see what your child is eating, anything they are doing through the day, notes from their teachers and pictures of them throughout

I love the teachers in Greenbeans(3 year old room)! They have taught my little one so much and Kevin makes the best organic food! Healthy and with variety. I would recommend this place as I am also starting my 9 month old here soon. They stay in ratio and are always on top of sending any incident reports if my child gets hurt or if there is a behavioral issue. 10/10

This place has so much potential! Lots of these 5 star reviews are because the owner asked people to write one because she got a negative review (which happened to me a few months back & was asked to write a positive review) or from her family & personal friends who do not have kids in the daycare. The owner and director do not respond to emails or texts in a timely manner when it came to issues occurring in the daycare. The class ratios are VERY illegal! My 2.5 year old had over 13 kids that I could count in his class this week with 1 adult. My 4 year old on any given afternoon would have 30-40

We have been at Beansprout Academy for 5 years now! 2 children have gone through the program and not only are the meals AMAZING but our oldest was so ahead academically it made kindergarten a breeze. They are very open with communication and having their cell phones we know if we need anything they are always there for us! 10 out of 10 recommend

This is the best daycare! Our daughter loves going there everyday and it eases our minds to know that she’s getting the best care possible. Everyone there is so responsive and helpful.... basically Beansprouts is everything you’d want on a daycare for your precious children! Cay is the best!!!

I honestly can’t say enough good things about Beansprout Academy! This is the third daycare center our daughter has been to, and it is by far the best! She has moved through several rooms at Beansprout and each room has had the most amazing teachers! You can tell that everyone from the ladies at the front desk to the teachers to the chef (who makes them the most delicious meals) genuinely love and care about your child. I was never worried or nervous about her being there because I knew she was safe, happy, and well cared for. They also communicate very effectively through an app by adding notes

Love Beansprout!! I can not say enough positive things about this daycare. The fresh cooked organic/sugar free meals are great for the children! The whole staff including the director are so friendly and loving to the children and parents! I have a toddler who has learned SO much from Beansprout and is on the path to being bilingual at the age of 2! After coming from a day care where I felt like I had to come to bat for my baby once a week, it is an AWESOME feeling knowing I am dropping my baby off with this amazing crew. My daughter has been going to Beansprouts for almost three years, and she absolutely loves it. The staff is incredibly attentive, and clearly love their jobs. The classes are always engaging for my child because they really know each and every child in them, and build materials around what the children like. They pride themselves on healthy, organic meals, and encourage children to eat things they would never encounter otherwise. Every Monday is vegetarian, and Fridays they serve fish. Plus, the chef will occasionally make meals that you can take home for purchase which are delicious, and a life
