I have enjoyed a general practice background ranging from private practice, to Hospital Dentistry, to volunteer programs for under privileged children.

A preventive program is a cooperative effort by the patient, dentist, and dental staff to preserve the natural dentition and supporting structures by preventing the onset, progress, and recurrence of dental diseases and conditions. Preventing dental disease starts at home with good oral hygiene and a balanced diet.
A comprehensive dental exam will be performed by your dentist at your initial dental visit. Examination of diagnostic x-rays (radiographs): Essential for detection of decay, tumors, cysts, and bone loss. X-rays also help determine tooth and root positions. Oral cancer screening: Check the face, neck, lips, tongue, throat, tissues, and gums for any signs of oral cancer.

I just moved in to the area recently and looking for a new dentist which can sometimes be stressful. I'm fairly certain I struck gold on a friends recommendation. Great dentist and amazing team. Our all family of 5 has always the best experience. Very kids friendly, hygienists are extraordinary too. After our dentist retired, it was not easy to find great, honest dentist, and we just found one.
I have just had crown and few fillings done by dr. Michael, and it couldn't be done better. Everything is very transparent, dr. Tobian takes time to explain everything up front, and while he is doing the work. All financials are figured out up front, no hidden costs.

Dr. Tobian and his staff are AMAZING! I'm in the Dental field so I was particular on type of Dentist I wanted to see after moving here 5 years ago. I want to add that my 5 and 3 year also see Dr. Tobian and they love him!!!!! They call him Dr. Toby and talk about him all the time! Dr. Tobian and his staff are by far the best dentist I have ever been to! If there was a dentist heaven, this would be it! It's kind of like walking into the twilight zone, without the creep factor. Everyone is so sweet and you can tell they all love their job. Dr. Tobian is sweet and honest, with no BS and manages to offer hope at the same time. I will go here even if I don't have insurance anymore. Thank you, Dr. Tobian, and all the staff for doing what you do....the epitome of amazing customer service!

I've been to dentists all over California - from San Diego to Malibu to Antioch. Dr. Tobian does excellent work and he won't tell you to fix anything that's not necessary. He is honest and fair - just ask him anything. I broke a tooth, thought I needed a crown and he fixed it with just a filling!

I was highly recommended to bring my ten yr old to Dr. Tobian. The office is very clean and organized. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Great dentist, Amazing staff. Dr Tobian is a very good dentist in this area. The whole staff is very honest and open about dental care and will let you know all your options and create a care plan for you. I have seen alot of results since I found this dentist. My gums are not so swollen and the headaches hav minimized with use of a mouthguard. The dentist offers a payment plan through an outside vendor if you choose to go that way. Linda the office manager is very informed with insurance care and will let you know the charges up front if you need them. If you refer a family member or friend they

As a family, we have been going to Dr. Tobian for many years. Recently, I needed a root canal. I had much anxiety over having this procedure, but they(Dr. Tobian & his staff) were able to work with me to alleviate my anxiety along with taking care of my root canal. Before the procedure, I would say that you pretty much had to peel me off the ceiling & I had even cancelled when I had scehduled this procedure the first time. However, I was able to have a cavity filled & the root canal during the same appointment & my anxiety & pain were next to normal level. A big thank you

I just [today] completed a very long cosmetic dentistry journey. I have been a patient of Dr. Tobian's for a few years now. I had permanent bridge work that needed to be replaced. I was never really satisfied with the way my teeth looked and when I met with Dr. Tobian and his staff, they were incredibly helpful, informative and NEVER pressured me. They let me know what my options were, the cost of treatment(s) etc. It took me a year to make the financial and physical and mental commitments but I am SO grateful I did. I have received more compliments on my smile in the last few months
