Services
Diabetes Self-Management Training (DSMT) is taught by a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES). There are seven areas of training that are covered in visits. Your CDCES will educate you on the physiology of diabetes, preventing complications, monitoring your blood glucose, understanding medications, exercise, problem solving and of course nutrition!
If this is your insurance company, please know that we are in network at this time. Not every plan or diagnosis may be covered, so it is recommended that you call your customer service number to verify coverage for medical nutrition therapy. Referral from a health care provider is needed.
