The husband and wife team began their Pigeon Forge / Gatlinburg hotel career in 1971 by purchasing the Riverside Hotel in Gatlinburg, and eventually added the Riverside Tower Hotel in Pigeon Forge when it was newly constructed in 1995. Over the years their many hotels in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg have hosted tens of thousands of satisfied families.

Just stayed one night and it is a nice hotel and would have given 5 stars but there were two things in my opinion need attention.
* the Balcony needs to be dusted for spider webs.... it's pretty bad. I'm not sure why this isn't a normal procedure while cleaning the rooms.
* coffee in the lobby, there needs to be some.... nothing fancy just a quick cup. I saw creamers but no coffee. There was a coffee machine in my room but honestly it would be nice to get some already made.
Other than these two items it was great. The rooms are clean and the water view is so pretty. I will come

This hotel is located near many restaurants and tourist attractions. Service at the front desk is friendly and efficient. Free WiFi. Our reservation was ready upon arrival. The room was spacious, had a huge tub, fireplace, refrigerator, wet bar area, microwave, dishes. I mean pretty much everything you need. It was also very clean. I felt I got my monies worth.
So why 4 stars and not 5. I felt the rooms were a little out dated. Now, I believe that Pigeon Forge is an extremely old city and most everything is old but the room could be updated a little.
