Hi! I'm Nichole, owner of Harmony Haus, a painting company that provides environmentally conscience painting services for residential interiors in the Chicago area. Harmony Haus uses low- and no-VOC paints, and we specialize in painting, wood stripping and restoration, custom designs, stencil application, and cabinet and furniture refinishing.
Many of the materials we use are Green Seal Certified products purchased from local, independent merchants. Harmony Haus is committed to supporting other small businesses and incorporating recycled or sustainable materials. Great care is taken to be aware of and reduce the amount of garbage that reaches landfills at the end of each job.

Nichole will come by with swatches and provide a complimentary one hour consultation to her clients to help you choose the most suitable colors for the environment you wish to create. Nichole and her team member, Javier, could not have been more fantastic to work with. The prepped and painted my kitchen (walls and cabinets), and living room and dining room trim and walls. They were always on time, efficient and the work itself is second to none. Nichole even helped me tweak my color and finish choices and made other helpful suggestions that resulted in beautiful results. I truly couldn't be happier.

Nichole did an amazing job with my 1900s condo in Kenwood. Not only was she incredibly knowledgable around all the quirks of an older home, but actually put care and time into ensuring whatever job she was doing was done right. From the walkthrough where she consulted on colors and executing my vision, to the end result - she was incredibly professional, communicative, and overall a joy to work with. Nichole and her team were great from start to finish. The estimate process was quick, detailed, and made it easy for us to decide to move forward with Harmony Haus. The actual job ended up taking less time than estimated and looks great. Nichole and her assistant were also great about safety provisions during COVID, wearing masks, etc., and they left the place spotless. Will definitely consider Harmony Haus again for any future paint work!

Harmony House provides top of the line service at very affordable prices. Nichole uses quality products and has all the latest tools to do the job! She is very good at color consulting too, if you also need that type of help.
We were amazed at her ability to finish our complex job, with cathedral ceilings and complex corners and angles, in a very short time frame.
She also kept our home clean.

I can not recommend Harmony Haus and Nichole more highly. We hired Nichole to paint the interior of a large Queen Anne home. In addition to painting, she removed wallpaper, fixed damaged walls and navigated complex architectural details including tin ceilings; she also managed to perfectly paint an almost 30 ft tall stairwell. Not only is her work impeccable, her communication is clear and consistent and she made the entire process easy and enjoyable. Nichole is hands down the best contractor we have ever worked with (and we have worked with a lot!). She is professional, personable, flexible (is accommodating to your needs and wants), and has incredible attention to detail. She anticipates questions and is extremely thorough in her proposal and her execution of tasks. We had her paint 2 bedrooms in our Lakeview condo and then the entire interior of our 4 bedroom house in Bucktown. I would recommend Nichole to anyone looking for a painter, she is truly amazing!

I hired Nichole and Harmony Haus to paint my entire home this summer. Nichole is a professional who provided a written quote and stuck to it. She kept me up to date on her projected start time. She completed the project before the deadline she originally projected. She returned my home to me clean and workable. Importantly, I had no issue when I asked for a retouch on a spot that needed it. Finally, I have two skittish cats. Nichole worked around them. I would recommend her to anyone I know.

My wife and I have hired Nichole and her Harmony Haus team twice and have been thrilled with the results. They take immense pride in their work and the results show. Our 100 year old condo had suffered from numerous imprecise paintjobs – Harmony Haus fixed all of that. Their painting reflects a high level of ability and attention to detail. Above and beyond the painting, Harmony Haus has the ability to tend to your house’s hardware (doors, door handles, etc.) that are in need of TLC.

I asked Nicole to paint my parent's buffet from the 50's. Love it! My piece is in the Harmony Haus website portfolio, which makes me happy. Price including pick up and deliver was reasonable (I did my research first). I wasn't sure what color to pick, so I took Nicole's recommendation and it is just beautiful. The buffet got a nicked in a move and Nicole came out to touch it up. Very satisfied.

Nichole is fantastic! We live in a condo and, due to some really weird stuff that happened with our condo management company changing there was probably over half a year between when I first got the estimate and when I e-mailed her again asking if we could go for it. She was wonderful about rolling with everything.
