My approach is straightforward and honest. I use a blend of evidence-based practices and individualized techniques drawn from 27 years of experience doing this work. Good therapy always results in some kind of change, and that's what we'll stay us focused on: The changes you want to see in your life.
If you are a new client, a credit card will be required to secure your initial appointment through Simple Practice. If the appointment you are attempting to schedule is within a 24 hour window from now, you will need to give me a call to schedule. The reason for this is that the schedule can change quickly and those changes may not be immediately reflected in the booking calendar.

This is especially true if part of what we're dealing with includes substance abuse, aggressive behavior, or sexually problematic/abusive issues.
Let's begin to answer this question by defining what VRT is not. VRT is not a video game. VRT has been studies for over 20 years and originally found its most direct use in the military. We now see VRT being utilized in education, corporate America, athletics, and in the field of mental health. VRT uses computer generated images and interactive scenes to immerse a person in a digital environment while in my office.
