I found working with Ms Alka Patel at the Kensington location in Sugar Land very customer oriented and caring. Ms Patel was professional yet personable. She was attentive in listening to my banking needs, knowledgeable in what to do, and was immediately responsive. Most impressively, Ms Patel followed up with me by phone to inform me of the status of my requests. This is the kind of service that gives a customer trust and satisfaction.

The level of ineptitude and unprofessionalism is uncanny. I'm not a member here nor will I ever be. But in my attempt to purchase a vehicle owned by a member this institution and its bewildered and rude and utterly unaware employees namely Thomas j and Lakesha W. Certainly didn't have the members best interests at heart. Bank with an institution that respects you and deserves your business. This isn't it.

I have been a customer of HFCU since 2011. I have had nothing but good experiences with them. When I needed to finance a car I received a loan in a matter of days. I tried to get a consolidation loan through my primary bank where I was a customer for decades and without even asking a single question, was told "we don't make personal loans". Really? Anyway, I have financed two vehicles thru HFCU and they are now my only banking institution. I have recommended them to my family as well. Great service!

I applied for a signature loan today and the loan officer helping me with my application, Craig K., was AMAZING! I had unexpected car repairs and needed funding asap. Craig diligently worked with me and made the entire process seem smooth and effortless. He listened to my financial concerns, answered all of my questions and matched me with loan options and payments that wouldn't be a strain on my pocketbook. Not only was I approved, I was able to get my car repaired and back on the road and this was all on a Saturday! I hope that it's a while before I'll need emergency funding again, but if so

I have been with HFCU for 4 years or more. I have taken 3 huge loans. paid them off within a year of each other and now auto loan 4 years later. They were my first choice when purchasing my vehicle.
My experience with this credit union has been phenomenal. My loan contact was with Sophia Tran. She made this happen very quickly with no issues.

Money was taken from my account from a charge that was messed up (not by me) 6 months ago. I called to try and understand the situation and was blown off by the manager that called me back. I left a bad Google review and was asked to email the office. I did just that and was left in the same situation, they money will be left withdrawn from my account and no real effort was made to take care of me. I've been a good customer for 15 years, paid off many loans and never been late on a payment, but that wont matter when a problem arises with HFCU.

I come once a month to the drive thru lanes to pay a loan I have with HFCU. And I must say this place takes FOREVER to help you! It's RIDICULOUS!!! At times it's only 2 car and STILL they take a RIDICULOUS amount of time!! And NEVER even apologizes for the wait!! It's very poor customer service. I work at a bank as well and we NEVER take this long to help our customers.

I owed $17.32 on a credit card, in March 2020 I paid $17.32 I thought I was FINALLY finish with these people however Thursday July 2nd I received a credit alert for a missed payment I went to the credit website and seen it was from them HFCU Sugarland however my balance stated it was a zero balance so I went to HFCU website and there it was they reported a late payment for .10 I called HFCU and the lady stated yes you do owe .10 and I told her my balance was 17.32 not 17.42 she told me what I seen online was not the correct balance and I should've

I utilized the services provided at this ranch rcause it is closer than my bank. I am currently disabled due to a stroke suffered in 11/2018 and now have to depend on others for transportation. I have not had a steady income in five months. I received a check much needed to pay bills and purchase medications because I no longer have insurance.
The teller was asked to fax the heck to my bank in order to avoid the hold(3 business days). I later contacted my credit union and found out she did not fax the check and its been 24 hours, now I can not contact the service center to find out what happened

I had a horrible experience on July 3, 2018. I was at Walmart trying to pay my rent and my card kept getting declined. So I went to the ATM and it's not letting me get MY MONEY!! I check my balance and the money is there. I called the credit union and their is no blocks or holds. The lady there tells me the limit to swipe for point of sell is $1000 ( my rent is $1149.44) and the atm withdrawal limit is $500.00. I then asked well can you lift that limit for the day and the lady says yes. I am not the holder of this account so the person who was called to get the limit lifted for today only

Recently attended a Houston Rockets playoff game and heard the message that HFCU has your back. I mean to tell you that this credit union definitely does not have your back! I was a 30+ year member who paid off all of my loans and was yet treated in an undignified manner. This credit union has no allegiance to its members.

This credit union has awful customer service and they don't care one bit about their members. They will constantly deny you even if you have 700+ credit. The loan officers have no power and send everything to the credit committee. The committee will flat out deny you without any counter offers or any offering of help. They do not work for their members here.
They need a total philosophy change and to get rid of their loan officers from top to bottom and start over. Also hire a competent web designer to redo their site and update their application interface.
