Caring for our patients and helping them achieve their goals requires a compassionate team that will support each individual in developing a personalized plan of treatment.
Recovering from a recent hospital stay following an injury or illness can come with many challenges. Often times, a family member, based on their experiences caring for loved ones at home, believe that certain changes require hospitalization. However, while true for the elderly living at home, one of the advantages of having your loved one in our care is our ability to respond and manage virtually any need they have - now and in the future.
The staff is very friendly and genuinely concerned about residents' care and services. The food is excellent, we joke that it's the reason we keep coming back for visits. Mom loves all of the ongoing activities, especially the painting classes. We are so pleased to have our mother as a resident of Baywind Village Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation.
I recently was a rehabilitation patient at your facility. I must tell you that I have never been treated better anywhere then when I was at Baywind. Kind, considerate and compassionate - all the workers seemed to go out of their way to make sure patients were comfortable. The process started with Beth in the office.
Encore Rehabilitation Services are contracted with Baywind Village to provide the highest level of rehabilitation services. Encore employs 20 fulltime physical, occupational and speech therapists, seven days a week at Baywind Village to ensure one on one, daily therapy that maximizes our patient's success rate.

My mother told me horror stories of this place.😡. There was nothing I could do. My mother told me there were a few kind nurses. Jamie, Sarah, and Doug went and helped my mother even when they were not her nurse. So grateful for those three nurses. There was a nurse one night that literally slept in her chair all night. There are many nurses at this awful place that have any compassion. The neglect on these poor people should be, and I’m positive is against the law. Ppl call for help and sit in their own fesces for up to three or four hours plus. I could go on and on but if this is not enough

My mom was only there for 2 days after some complications from a knee replacement. The care at this facility is almost indescribable. She became dehydrated the second day, and had to be transported to the ER. While I was there that second night before visiting hours were over it took over 30 minutes to get an ice pack for her knee. I ended up going to the nurses station to get it, and was treated very poorly. The most shocking part was though that the nurse/nurses aide (not exactly sure of her title) threw the ice packs on the ground, stepped on them with her foot and proceeded to hand them to

I would give negative if I could. The staff are nice and helpful and probably doing their best, and it is clean, but this facility is horrifically managed. My grandmother had incidents of not getting medication at the right time or not getting medication at all. In the three weeks she was there, she never saw the presiding doctor ONCE, and the presiding doctor never contacted me either. I imagine the workers here are overworked and underpaid. The place is certainly understaffed - again, I blame the management, the workers are kind and doing their best. There is one nurse to cover a dozen patients

This facility will be firing medical professionals who won’t comply with tyrannical orders. They have betrayed their healthcare “heros”. Effective October 31st.

I’m a 37 your old quad for 15 years and great staff, great management and for the most part, “Great CNA’s!” More than 95% of the tram here at Bay Wind all Church in one way or another to make everyone stay great.
It’s been about 2 years of bed baths & was taken to the shower room even though I can not sit up straight. Great folks and a great effort on all ends.

I'm so impressed with the caring and professionalism of the staff at Baywind. I highly recommend it if you or a loved one is ever in need of such a place. The concern and helpful attitude is genuine and really makes going through a difficult time a much better experience. I know that my dad is in good hands there.

Our 93 yo mother (RIP) resided at Baywind Village from March through August of 2020 due to a broken hip and all this added trauma sped up her Dimentia. We removed her just a week before her passing.
I only hope she forgives us for placing her in this facility!
Late meals and medications were problematic. Bathing was inadequate. Appearance by dressing inadequate.
Care could have been better for the amount of fees charged.
Upon leaving Baywind Village, many personal items were not returned; 2 pairs of house shoes, her reading glasses, and her hearing aids($7000). Baywind said that they were not

My dad is not one to depend on anyone and is very private, so it was hard sending him to a skilled nursing facility for rehab therapy for his broken hip. But Baywind Village was an EXCELLENT choice!!! The therapy dept got him up and walking within the first day of admission! They pushed him to really work hard which is why he healed so quickly and so well. The nursing dept. made him feel very comfortable and were very supportive of his recovery. The dietary dept was very accommodating
to his meals and requests. Last but not least, my dad had an amazing doctor, which between he and his nurse practitioner

My mother was sent there for a back injury rehabilitation. Transfer from the hospital was poor. They did not know why she was there or get discharge information from the hospital. She was supposed to have 2 therapy sessions a day for 1 hour. If she had ‘therapy’ it was less than 5 minutes. Meal planning and communication was poor, as was the food. She gave accounts of neglect and retribution by attendants. Though we had medical power of attorney, they generally failed to consult or inform us of treatment or medications. Promises of treatment and visitation made in admission including admission

Got mom home safe during this horrible pandemic! Unfortunately a month ago mom had stroke and went here to Baywind nursing home after she left the hospital. The nurses and therapists here were all extremely kind to my mom. The administration was oh so extremely positive, informative, commutative, compassionate to me as well. Entire staff had a lot of experience and kind manners! Thanks again for your hard work especially during these troubling times ! 😷
