Due to high demand for tent sites, we have recently added several tent sites. Tent guests should know that tent sites are in close proximity to neighboring tent sites (as well as other RVs), are closer to the main road through town, and are on the opposite side of the park ( think longer walk) from the bathrooms/showers/laundry/guest sinks.

Services
We are located 23 miles to the famous ski town of Breckenridge. We have full 50 Amp hookups with city water and sewer. Walk to restaurants and shops including the South Park Brewing Co. and the Continental Divide winery. Our resort features fiber optic WiFi, paved sites, a 'fun cabin' for activities, ping pong, and meeting spaces.

If there is no answer at this number, please leave a message and your call will be returned as soon as possible.
This Agreement does not create a tenancy or residency or any other real property right in favor of Guest. All Guests of the Park are required to be checked in and out upon arrival/departure.
If Guest fails to depart by the checkout time on Departure Date or within twenty-four (24) hours after termination of this Agreement, Guest will be trespassing and, in addition to any other rights and remedies the Park may have, the Park may remove and store Guest's RV, vehicle and other property at Guest's expense.

Why wrangle your RV or boat on the streets of the big city? Avoid the drive from Denver altogether and pick up your RV right off Highway 285 in Fairplay.
Great Colorado skiing is just 23 miles away. Make your life easy and keep your ski/snowboard gear in your RV and store it with us over the winter. Let's face it, winter sports are bulky! Our WINTER STORE and SKI PROGRAM: Pay for storage and stay in your RV for 4 nights per month at the daily rate. Water and dump available plus use of shower house - perfect after a long day on the mountain.

Middlefork is a pretty little campground with beautiful views. A walk along the small trail surrounding the park takes you on a stroll along the crystal clear stream flows on the north and south sides of the campground. It’s refreshingly quiet and everyone we met was friendly. The manager keeps the bathrooms and laundry room clean., although I recommend wearing shower shoes in the communal showers.
There is a small game room on the property with a ping pong table and you can pan for gold in the creek.
The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the dryers in the laundry room are terrible

Pay attention to where you need to turn in which is the grocery store's parking lot and then you go down a drive. The signs are small. Not level and had to go buy more blocks. Overall a pretty nice place and location excellent. Breckinridge was a very easy drive!Make sure you have your blocks to level your rv!

What an unexpected surprise. I had no idea that the park is bordered by a most wonderful rushing river. 27 of the 44 sites back up to the Middlefork South Platte River and there is River access, a lovely river side walking path, and even a catch & release trout pond. At first I balked at the $60 a night rate, but I was so impressed by the level sites, clean bath and laundry rooms, and of course the relaxing sounds of the rushing water behind my rig, that I'll be stating there again for sure!

It's horrible for tent campers, do not waste your money on a.cramped site. A tiny row of rocks separate you from your neighbor. You face the highway and just listen to traffic. The bathroom is so far away,, you would need to drive there in an emergency.. I originally booked a RV site and was talked out of it by whoever was in the office and am so mad at myself for listening to him. A Saturday night in August, I couldn't find anywhere else to stay. I will never come here again and if it wasn't for the nice lady in a camper next to me and the fact that someone didn't book the middle tent site, I

Overall would recommend. Marcum the property manager is super kind and a wonderful manager. The Rv park does have some year round hook up. Prices are different in the winter than they are in the summer. washroom available with 2 showers and one toilet in men's and same thing for women's. there is also 2 sets of washer and dryer as well as a dish washing station. Right across the way from the Office is the Ping Pong room with a ping pong table as well as some board games. Overall a nice place. sometimes the restrooms are a little dirty and some dog drama but nothing Marcum doesn't deal with!
