I wouldn't stay here again. It started off bad from the beginning. We arrived after hours, and went to the door to get our site information. As we proceeded to our site the owner began chasing us, arms waving and screaming, "You can't take that trailer up to your site". They wanted us to park it by the highway where we couldn't see it and theft could very easily have been an issue. Even though none of their literature or their website indicated that having trailers at your site was not allowed. The only thing mentioned in their literature is that you may only have 1 RV and one vehicle per site

We stayed here July 2021. The staff was WONDERFUL and so accommodating! I had a recent injury requiring handicap access for the restroom and the staff kept the restroom reserved for me so that it was available when I needed it and they all kept a lookout for me, offering a ride back to my campsite, etc. They do such a nice job keeping the campground clean and also were attentive to helping to guide folks with campers into their campsites. The loft cabin was a perfect snug size and pitching a tarp over the picnic area worked well for the the rainy afternoons when we still wanted to be outside. This

We stayed one night in a tent site as we joined our friends who were in an RV site. The tent site was very expensive - $59.47 including tax and an undisclosed $10 booking fee (apparently charged whether you book by phone or internet, but not quoted when I made the reservation by phone). The site was on top of a hill, accessed via a very steep rutted gravel road. There is no water near the sites but there are 3 portapots. The tent site itself was on a hill with very little level space to pitch a tent and directly above the highway so there was constant noise all night.

Stayed here at the last minute on July 16 and 17, 2021. Called from the road and got a spot for our Pop Up. The spots were very, very close together and our spot, at the end of the row, was closest to the road. The road noise was loud and made it hard to have a conversation outside and sleep. The campground is nice, well maintained and the staff was super helpful and very nice. We had water and electric. The site was clean and everything worked. The bathroom has two stalls and two showers (perhaps there was a second bathhouse but we did not see). Seemed small for the size of park and the showers

I stayed at the yurt in Arrowhead Point Camp grounds on 7/17/21 weekend. What stood out to me was the kind owner and staff, excellent customer service. I felt we had plenty of room on our site and awesome views to wake up to. It's about 5 miles north of BV, but this gave opportunities to ride our bikes into town or head north to Twin Lakes area. Additionally, it was quiet and not rowdy into the night so I appreciated that as well.

I don’t write reviews often, but maybe my review will steer someone to go elsewhere or even closer into Buena Vista. First of all, when I made the reservation, the woman on the phone was very short with me. I felt like a nuisance rather than a paying customer. The camp spots are very tight. You don’t have much privacy at all. Our neighbors were smoking cigarettes so couldn’t leave camper windows open. It’s also expensive! They advertise a lot of bells and whistles but it’s all extra charge. I’d rather be more remote with more privacy. And to the guy steering traffic, he has a very short

We couldn’t find a place anywhere in Buena Vista. Called at 6:30pm and got a cabin just before they closed at 7pm. The cabin with loft was super cute and my kids loved it. They didn’t have bedding, but it wasn’t a problem because we had our sleeping bags. Each cabin site had a tree positioned perfectly over the picnic table and the space was outlined with large rocks and had a fire pit. It did seem weird we had to pay for the showers, but overall place was clean and well kept. Super cute store too. Would recommend.
