Born in Italy and raised in Westchester, Cindy is proud to have worked for over two decades as a hair design expert and salon owner in her own backyard. She is highly regarded throughout the county and appreciated by a broad client base for her artistry in hair design and her warm, friendly persona.
Cindy is a winner of Westchester Magazine's Best of Westchester Award for Best Braid Bar 2013. She lives in Valhalla with her husband, Gennaro, and two children. Gennaro is a master colorist who hails from Naples Italy. He is renowned throughout Scarsdale and the entire Westchester region for his excellence in full-color and highlighting treatments.

I have curly 3a type hair which for the ease of maintenance I get yearly keratin treatment done at GMazza. Jojo is really crafty with my hair and has a very friendly and caring personality. She shares various tips of daily hair maintenance as well. Recently I have been going gray and Jojo never judges my decisions of not choosing to color or touch up the roots. I really appreciate that. The entire team at GMazza is a very warm and welcoming place.

I have been a client of Jojo for years! She always has time to see me, even last minute. She makes my hair look great! I always love my highlights— they look so natural. She also cuts both of my sons’ hair. One has long hair and the other has short hair. She does it all! She also did amazing blue hair for my son. He loves it and gets tons of compliments!!

I’m getting keratin done with JoJo, who was highly recommended by my mom’s Facebook friends. I have very thick and curly hair that most people don’t know how to manage, but JoJo’s doing a phenomenal job with it. She’s very friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend her to anybody with difficult to manage hair;)

I initially came to G Mazza Salon and saw a different stylist after a neighbor recommendation. After I saw what great haircuts Jojo gave my two kids I decided to try her for myself. I’m a pretty fussy customer and I love the way Jojo does my hair. The fact she’s a lovely person is icing on the cake. All the staff at G Mazda are lovely and Dina on reception is a doll!
