Services
The firm's principal attorney is Debra Shpigler. As the author of How to Become a U.S. Citizen, Ms. Shpigler believes a successful outcome calls for the alien and sponsor to "make their case" completely and persuasively to the appropriate agencies, avoiding missteps and pitfalls that delay or disqualify applicants along the way.
The Shpigler Law Firm helps U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents (green card holders) bring their relatives to the United States or assist them in remaining here. We have years of experience with family-related immigration. Individuals who have qualifying family relationships may file petitions with USCIS on behalf of their relatives.
Our firm also arranges waivers for the two-year foreign residency requirement for foreign medical graduates, enabling them to remain in the U.S. Individuals working in "specialty" (professional) occupations, as well as fashion models, are eligible for H-1B visas if their employers can show that they will be paid the greater of the prevailing wage or the actual wage for that position.
The United States allows foreign-born individuals to become U.S. citizens through a process called "naturalization." Anyone who completes the naturalization process is entitled to the same rights and privileges as a natural-born U.S. citizen. These include the right to vote and run for office, the right to live and work in the U.S., and the right to travel internationally.
The Shpigler Law Firm provides legal assistance to individuals who want to apply for Deferred Action, or DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals). Deferred action is a kind of administrative relief from deportation (sometimes called removal). It has been around for a long time. When the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) grants someone deferred action, it is authorizing a non-U.S.

Positive: Professionalism, Responsiveness
The most impressive point I want to highlight is the responsiveness and professional service provided during the immigration process. Very knowledgeable of the changes, which were many during COVID19. Her patience and communication is excellent. Thank you Debbie our family is now together.

The Shipgler law firm was recommend to us by my wife's sister in-law who had used The Shpigler law firm for many years. We also read good things about the firm on Google and decided to hire Mrs. Shpigler to prepare and file form I918 (U-visa) for my wife and I. We are extremely satisfied with the overall experience with the firm. The case took 2 years and was a complex one, but Debra Shpigler handled it well and kept us informed at all times: she discussed the available options and best course of action to take. She is good at keeping promises and is prompt in answering questions. We highly recommend

Debbie Shpigler helped our Austrian son-in-law receive a “green card.” In fact, we think it very likely that he would have been denied without Debbie’s assistance.
He and our daughter decided in 2016 that they would like to move, with their two children, to the United States. She had remained a US citizen whilst living in Austria. Both children have US passports. They chose to pursue the green card process on their own, without legal assistance. They submitted the initial application, paid the required fees, waited, and communicated with us about what would be required next if the US immigration

Debbie was recommended by a friend. She was always very professional and sincerely concerned about my situation. After consulting with her, she developed a winning strategy for us. I am happy to say I have been granted legal status, and will be receiving my Permanent Resident and Social Security cards in less than 100 days! We could not have done this without her help. Debbie was fantastic! Thank you so much!

Debbie did a great job helping me and my children obtain green cards. We had
been working with another immigration lawyer previously, and we were not getting
anywhere. We actually got denied. After I hired The Shpigler Law Firm, the
process went very smoothly. After very short time about a month, we all got our
green cards. She knew exactly what to do. Every time I contacted her she always
was there for me and tried to help. I highly recommend The Shpigler Law Firm.

My company and I have been extremely happy with Debbie Shpigler and The Shpigler Law Firm. The firm has helped us obtain H-1B visas and green cards for several employees over the years, and they even helped my husband and I get our own green cards. Debbie is very easy to work with, and I never have trouble reaching her to ask a question or to discuss an issue. I highly recommend the Shpigler Law Firm.
