Dr. Dan has a passion for working with the human body and understanding the nuances of movement and mechanics. He graduated from Rutgers with a Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy and was awarded Board Certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist.

Staats Physical Therapy is so much more than your standard PT office. The knowledge and care that Dr. Dan and Dr. Bill provide is truly outstanding. In July of 2020 I missed a step and broke both my ankles, on the way home from the Orthopedic I dropped off my x-ray to Dr. Dan and he was able to provide more information to me than I had heard at the hospital or the specialist. September of 2020 I had my first visit to Staats PT in a wheel chair. After 2 weeks with Dr. Dan and Dr. Bill, I was up and walking with crutches and was able to go trick or treating with my kids, without assistance by Halloween

During the pandemic, I developed shoulder pain issues and was avoiding contact with anyone outside my immediate family. Dr Staats was wonderful in helping me heal through virtual visits and a treatment program. he is most knowledgeable and skilled, but also very compassionate and generously helpful. Statts Physical Therapy is the very best! I have had injuries and surgeries that have brought me back to Statts PT time and time again over many years. Went to Staats PT after my TKA (total knee replacement surgery) and could not have been happier with the results. Dr Dan worked me hard to gain back full range of motion and strength in my leg. Their hands on approach and sincere concern to get me back to good health was obvious from the first day! I’ve used Staats Physical therapy for shoulder issues and a variety of breast cancer related therapies.
