I know staff at this company. Really good workers, honest and supportive of the community. They let the Des Moines Rehabbers Club use their space for a window restoration course I took. Great class and Silent Rivers folks helped out. I have seen their work, too, in homes and am always really impressed with their incorporation of reused quality materials when possible. Saving up for them to do work on my 1888 house!

We've worked with Silent Rivers on several projects: They gutted and rebuilt our kitchen. Added a privacy patio and fencing to the front of our house. Most recently, they reconfigured our back deck, added redwood sun awnings, and installed a larger window in our living room. In each case, the work was done on schedule and with great care. SR's strength is its people: From the architect/designers to its amazing crew of carpenters, tilers, and the like. This is a design-build firm, which means they handle ALL the details, including the subcontractors. We highly recommend SR.
