It's been 6 months since my 2 sessions of Picosure treatment with Dr. Maggie Chen and I am very happy with the result! My skin looked so much cleaner just a few days after the first treatment. After the 2nd session, 90% of the visible freckles were gone and my overall skin quality also got better (more smooth). I started to get compliments of my skin and no one can tell what changed. Highly recommend!

Really disappointing experience. I arrived on-time from my appointment and was left in the consult room alone for 30 mins before walking back to the front desk to check what was going on. Turns out they forgot about me. Monumental waste of the 30 mins just sitting there plus my 25 min commute. Will not be back.

Did PicoSure ( 4 sessions) at almost $3,000. The first session I waited for about 2 1/2 hours because they forgot about me and by the time I saw the physician the numbing cream wore off so she did only one pass really quickly so Dr. Lee said he would comp an extra session that never took place. The results are very minimal for the price to be honest. Wouldn't recommend this place for PicoSure

I guess they have some overbooking issue. The restroom is not that clean, with plenty of water on the ground. I had to put on numbing cream myself, this is way different from what I have seen before. After putting on the numbing cream, I waited for more than an hour… I was really worry about the numbing effect…
Recommendation for who are having treatments here: prepare something to kill time.

They asked me to email them if the experiences I had were true and to otherwise REMOVE my transparent feedback.
So, add to the list of bad practices this business trying to quiet honest reviews rather than improve.
I will not remove any honest review just because they feel it reflects poorly on the business. Instead of making claims that they are licensed, they should share their credential ID's so customers can validate the practice.

This review is specifically for laser hair removal. I can't believe I waited all these years to get it done. Had I known how quick and painless it would be, I would have done this years ago! It has only been my first session, and I'm already seeing a huge difference in the growth (or none at all)! . Thanks to the staff who also made me feel comfortable throughout the session.

I don't know about other service they offer but speaking of picosure, I felt like the doctor did not spend adequate time on me - she uses very light setting and only go over your face twice, which is far from enough. The session took 10 mins max.

I would highly recommend this place to my family and friends. I went to the clinic for a Picosure treatment to remove sun spots/freckles on my face. The results were amazing! After only 2 sessions, I saw dramatic improvements. I couldn't believe it! It wasn't even painful, and each session was very quick. Dr. Chen and Dr. Lee are very professional and experienced doctors. They have different standard for new customer and old customer, before you pay, they'd like to meet you on Saturday, after you pay they don't accept appoints on Saturday anymore!
And they can never start treat you on time in each session, got to wait over 40mins.

It was a happy experience to get 4 sessions of picosure with Dr Chen. I have been researching for s couple of years on useful treatment on the genetic ADM problem.
Eventually i found the only clinic owning the 755nm picosure machine is Dr Chen. It works after four treatments but not fully cleaned up. But I believe it would disappear after another several treatments.
Dr chen and dr Lee are both very caring and adjustable based on the reactions of my skin effects.

I had an excellent consultation with Dr. Chen. The office is modern, clean, and well organized. It is better than most offices I have visited here. I found the receptionist, Loan, to be friendly and efficient in scheduling my appointment. The Cynosure Lasers offered and service packages by Dr. Chen are the best quality and value I have experienced so far in the San Jose area (after decades in NYC).

The staff is excellent. I did have to wait over 40 minutes for my appointment. They were very apologetic explaining that there had been an electrical outage in the morning causing a huge back-up in appointment times. That being said, Dr. Chen was extremely informative about the procedures they offer and she answered my questions and explained the costs. I do not have acne, scarring or discoloration. I went to this office to discuss aging, sagging skin problems. I opted to have the hydrafacial and left the office with skin feeling clean and smooth. I am considering having some of their other procedures

Had my 1st session of Sculpsure, and scar treatment last week by Dr. Chen, it's pleasant experience. Dr. Chen is very caring and knowledgeable. Prior than that in my short consultation with her, I already could tell she is the doctor you can trust. So I got price quote the next day and made appointment right away. After the 1st treatment I felt very good about my decision. The equipment in this place is state of the art, and Dr. Chen is incredibly skillful, attentive and considerable. Very prompt with returning messages via yelp. Easy to schedule. When I arrived, they saw me at my actual appointment time (I love that)
No waiting in a room for half hour. I felt kind of bad cause I was in a rush and asked if I was able to leave by 10. Everything was done, procedure, payment and I was out the door at 9:59. This place is on it and they were very polite, courteous and professional. I forgot the gals name that did my procedure but she was absolutely gorgeous and very nice, explained

I was very happy and excited after the last treatment, the brown spot on my face which had bothered me for more than 20 years, has finally breaking away completely. I like the natural and slow process of the PicoSure procedure, using laser light waves to stimulate and work deeply into the skin tissues and to allow the body's immune system to repair and heal itself by breaking up the pigment and remove it gradually. After loosing weight and dropping from a jean size of 16/18 to a size 8/10 I still had the love handle & stomach area bothering me. I recently went into SJ Med Spa to address concerns with my face. I have a number of sun spots and had concerns over my wrinkles and skin texture. I met with Dr. Chen and Dr. Lee who explained in detail the treatments that they would recommend for me. They answered all my questions and trust me I had a lot. What I really liked about the technology they use is there is very little down time, if any. Other technology that other spas use, have a week or more down time. Great experience and A+++ all the way! I use Yelp a lot but never written a review yet... It is also my first time going to a med spa so I think it is time for me to contribute to this wonderful society! I had 1 Sculpsure and 2x hair removal treatments done so far. Sculpsure definitely works for me. My thigh is already noticeably smaller. As for hair removal, this is definitely worth it. I used to shave everyday and after just 2 treatments of laser hair removal on my legs, I still haven't shaved even after 1 week and my skin feels so smooth! Dr. Chen did everything from consult to treatments

Great overall experience!!!! Dr. Chen and Dr. Rosoles are very knowledgeable and personable with the latest and greatest technology. From their clean comfy gorgeous office, to their unpretentious and attentive staff. They were very patient and was able to answer all my questions and concern.
