I just used BDL Livery & Car Service to transport my daughter from Smith College to the airport. She said it was a great experience. The drivers as very nice and is studying for his masters in electronics, so it was an enjoyable discussion that helped pass the time.
On the logistics side, their website is easy to use and they were very quick to respond to questions. You will receive a request for payment 2 days prior to your scheduled ride via email and it is super easy to complete via PayPal. As a plus, you can add the tip right into PayPal payment, so there is no awkward getting out

Wonderful car service!! I highly recommend -- especially during Covid. I was anxious about getting my college student from central Connecticut to Boston's Logan airport safely, but Hazem went out of his way to ease my frayed nerves. His Covid protocol is so thorough -- he gets tested regularly, requires masks for both drivers and passengers, does a deep cleaning after every trip and even open windows and skylights for the best ventilation. Highly recommend! I arrived after a long day of multi-city travel during COVID. I was really stressed about the airports, and wasn't super excited about taking a car service. I'm so happy I went with BDL Livery because it was the best part of my day.

Easy to book via email or online. Requested a quote online and received super fast response. A bit pricier than an Uber or Lyft but well worth the cost when you know your driver will show up on time, help you with luggage, and have room for all of it. Highly recommended now I know why they have all great reviews. Also given the state of current times they are super thorough about cleaning/sanitation. Comfortable ride and courteous driver!

To start off I'm originally from CA so getting an Uber or lyft is easy peasy. However, finding an Uber with reliable times of pick up and drop off is kinda hard in CT. Based on the reviews, I choose BDL and it did not disappoint! It's only a flat rate to and from your location, the driver was soo courteiest and helpful. They had water in the car waiting, and to be honest the ride was very smooth and luxurious compared to your typical uber. I used them to and from the airport. I used them initially in booking a ride for my friend that needed to catch a flight at 6am from West Hartford

There is no one better than Hazem and the BDL taxi service. Since moving to Connecticut three years ago my fiance and I exclusively call Hazem for our frequent trips to the airport. I can't recommend him enough. I text him to pick up our out of town family and friends (who he remembers each time and they love riding with him). He is always early and impeccably dressed. His cars are pristine and luxurious. All of that alone would be reason to choose him, but in addition he is one of the happiest and kindest people I know. I'm so glad I chose BDL among all other companies. Their service is amazing! Hazem gave me a heads up call as we agreed and he showed up on time. It was such a pleasure to chat with him on the way to the airport.
My return flight got cancelled and Hazem contacted me before the flight company did. (Cuz I had a connecting flight and I can't check flight status on air)
He keeps an eye on your flight status so you don't have to worry if there is a delay.
After all, I highly recommend BDL if you need quality shuttle/airport services.

Overall, Hazem and his colleague are responsive and ensured that we got to the airport on time and were picked up on time. However, I called different shuttle/taxi companies to see the variance in price comparisons for the same service. Hazem quoted a number for airport pick up and drop off (a roundtrip ticket) that I verified several times over the phone. When we were being dropped off home, his driver stated that that price was only for one leg of the trip. If you are using their services, I would highly recommend getting an invoice or an email about what the price breakdown is. It was frustrating

I have used these guys since the 1st day I moved to CT. I can't say enough about their service!! Not only are they punctual and knowledgeable about traffic patterns and routes, they make the ride enjoyable. My driver Hazem was wonderful. I kept him waiting because my meeting ran over but he waited and we kept in touch via text. Booking was easy and friendly and both driver and the operator I booked with were very knowledgeable about the area.
I hesitated to book a taxi versus uber--but this was a wonderful experience and I would absolutely do it again in Hartford.
