Services
In 1970, Tony Bozzelli left his hometown of Roseto, Italy, and came to America with the dream of starting his own business - a dream that became a reality in 1972 when he opened a small convenience store in Alexandria called The Handy Market. Tony was later joined by his brother, Lucio, in 1976 and together they created Bozzelli Bros. Deli.

Classic over stuffed sandwiches on fresh baked bread. Sadly, the owner is retiring and closing 30 Nov.

Very good sandwiches. Cold cuts and toasted. Superior quality meat and bread compared to similar joints.

Really great subs (especially when toasted), recommend The Metro. Downside is the stopped allowing dining in so now it's carry-out only.

Is that an $8 dollar salad, seriously the salad looked like they had kids in the kitchen making the food.Lesson Learned, I’d say save the trip but, being on post you’re at the mercy of these low standards vendors.

Ordered a sub for lunch and had it delivered. Was missing mayo and pickles! What kind of sandwich is that? The meat was pretty good, but still did not want a dry sandwich. Understand that things happen but man...no mayo!

Great little deli with good prices! Their pizza is excellent as well as their sandwiches. The service is pretty quick and everyone is very friendly as well. They also have wine and beer as well which is nice considering they are a smaller store you wouldn't expect it from normally.

Order anything but the cheesesteaks! Everything they have is really good; Tuna, meatball subs, chicken salad, lasagna, cannolis... all very yummy. Except the cheesesteaks are horrible - like a Steak Umm! Smh

Used to go to Bozzellis when they were I. The 300 compound. Seems that over time, things have changed. Subs seem smaller and prices are higher. Still great tasting food (though my sub bun was a bit tough). But $11 for a half-sub of tuna salad and a 20oz drink is more than I care to spend. $7.99 for the sub, $0.50 for cheese (thought that would be included), and $1.89 for a 20oz drink (even the vending machine is only $1.75). Oh well. Bollellis used to be a nice alternative to Subway, or BK. Now, not so much...
