Mrs. June Jamieson started June's Dancewear 51 years ago in the original house she raised her five children. Mrs. Judy, one of Mrs. June's daughters, has been with the store from the start. In the beginning years, Mrs. Judy taught science for AISD TX, and helped her mom after school and on the weekends.

She left teaching in 1982 to work full time at June's. Mrs. Judy now owns and manages June's Dancewear. Though Mrs. June passed in 2019, her dream of keeping her dance business still flourishes. At June's, we care about our customers and love watching them grow throughout the generations. Providing our customers with Quality Dancewear and Dance Shoes is a goal that will continue through the coming years.

Got my 2 year old everything she needed for her first dance class season. The ladies were very knowledgeable and made the whole process quick and easy. Very sweet and nice ladies. Highly recommend getting dance wear for your child here.

I went in this morning with my 2 year old, Nora, to get her first pair of ballet shoes. They were wonderful and so sweet! We felt right at home and will definitely be back for our future dance needs 😊

Amazing service and terrific selection! Judy worked hard to find the perfect tap shoes for my dancer. We can't wait to return when we need more dance supplies, because they will have whatever we need.

They really helped me figure out what I needed for my 11 yr old's new dance class! I found the tights, leotards, skirts, shoes, and much more. They had everything I needed, even for boys! I will definitely be back! Thank you so much for your customer service and hospitality!

We loved this place! We are in town for a dance comp and needed a fresh pair of tights. Tamara was super friendly and helped us with everything we needed and more! If you are local or from out of town, this is a great dance shop with lots of options. ❤❤

I adore this place. I have been coming to June's since I was little, and now that I'm teaching and my daughter is dancing I see just how rare and valuable this place is! The staff is very knowledgeable and personable, and they take care to make every customer's need a priority. They have a very wide selection (don't let the little house fool you, they've used the space very well!) and they help their customers find exactly what they're looking for. I highly recommend June's even if you have to take a drive to get there - it's worth it!

I LOVE June’s. I get my pointe shoes there. They helped me find a costume for one of my solos too. The staff there are sooo nice. They really like to focus on remembering their customers to make them feel at home. Definitely would recommend coming here!
