Cartan's Shoes

They set me up so we'll and I was in a hurry.
It was a breeze getting my fancy brown shoes. And rather comfortable but don't wear those all day in the Texas heat of the day.

There are too many valuable and comfortable shoe merchants in FW - I’d suggest trying Neiman Marcus and Eisenmanns. I’ve shopped with Cartan’s for 30 years and have never witnessed the horrid treatment several have mentioned. Clearly the owner is not advocating for diversity training for employees. Had I witnessed this behavior I would most certainly have admonished someone. In our current climate this sort of behavior will NOT be tolerated! You’ve lost these customers already and you’ve now lost a longtime client as well. Appalling!!!

I have a wide foot, and it is very hard for me to find shoes. I have been shopping at Cartan's as did my Mother for many years. They have sizes from very narrow to extra wide. The shoes are high quality and the employees are fantastic!

Today, I was referred to Cartan's Shoes in Ft. Worth to help my 85-year old mom, with extremely swollen feet and legs, find a pair of comfortable shoes. Jenna greeted us at the door with a smile and took her time to help make my mother comfortable. After providing her with my mom's shoe size and width, Jenna began to bring out shoe after shoe until my mom found a fit, style and color that were pleasing.

During this experience, our Apostle reached out to check on us. When he heard where we were and what we were doing, he immediately sent me $180 to help pay for the shoes. This was more

DO NOT go to this store if you are overweight as the saleslady (Debbie Knight) will call you a 'big girl' and refuse to sell you anything on sale. I see several posts that appear to be from people of diverse color and to read how they were treated horrifies me! I guess this is one more 'hate group' to add to your list of customers you don't want to sell to, Cartan's! Anyone of 'color' and anyone of 'size', no need to go here and be treated badly or like a criminal.

My favorite shoe store. Staff is top notch. Been going for more than a decade. They listen. If I say I am looking for a shoe with particular traits, they help me find that, and don't just push random other stuff. Be prepared to pay an extra dollar. But, if quality and comfort are your priorities, it won't be money ill spent. Don't worry, fashion is not sacrificed.

Loved the service provided by Debbie Knight. I left a very happy customer. This is the place to shop if you require non standard size shoes. They offer a range of styles and comfort.

I Love this store! We're visiting Ft. Worth so I thought I'd look for shoes. I searched for "Aetrex" and this store came up. For comfort you cannot go wrong. They have a great selection of shoes, sandals, purses, socks. You will be in heaven. And the people who work there are very helpful and nice. Everyone was busy helping customers and a lot of happy people with purchases were leaving with big smiles. Thank you Cartan Shoes.

I was looking for some comfy walking shoes to take on a trip and bought three pairs. They are comfy and were awesome for all the walking I did...Tom was who waited on me, and he was very very knowledgeable and went out of his way to make sure every pair was a perfect fit. I'll be back!

Tom Cortesio spent a great deal of time helping my mother find attractive shoes that she could manage with arthritic hands and swollen feet. Cartan's has a beautiful selection of shoes that I don't see in department stores for those of us that can no longer wear shoes that do not provide some support. Thank you, Tom!

My husband bought me a wonderful Baggallini tote from Cartan's for Christmas that was unfortunately not my style. Although the receipt says they have a 14 day return policy (already ridiculous considering every other retail store in the U.S. has at least a 30 day policy) my husband took the bag into the store with the receipt and was told I could bring it back, no problem. When I returned with the bag I handed it to the sales associate that greeted me and said I was there to exchange it for something else. The sales staff are attentive and very helpful, but I had two serious problems. The first is that I went home with the wrong size hiking boots. I wear a B-width. The saleswoman insisted I wore a D. No. I stood firm. I bought a pair of B-width athletic shoes and some hiking boots. Later, after a visit to the ER because I was in so much pain I couldn't walk, I had to carefully assess my shoes. It was then that I discovered the boots were a D. The "D" on the box was altered with a line through it to make it look like a "B" and the words "wide/large" were crossed out.

As a child, I had issues with my feet, and my grandmother always took me to Cartan's to buy me good shoes. Fast forward 50 years and several traumas to my feet, and I have a really, really hard time finding shoes. I've tried big shoe stores like DSW, Famous Footwear, Rack Room and major department stores, all to no avail. It was frustrating to be measured at a 9.5 and be buying 10's and 11's to get a shoe to fit me. I finally decided to make a pilgrimage back to Ft. Worth and see if Cartan's could help.
