Our AC went out. Trey arrived, asked a few questions, proceeded to diagnose, and BOOM he found a defective flow switch which was preventing the system from triggering from the thermostat. Trey a spare in his trick, R/R and we had air!! He was professional, courteous, and clearly a guru! He did this a very short time.

I can’t say enough about Airmax! They put in a new system for us plus an air cleaner. They are efficient, knowledgeable, on time and their communication was awesome! I always knew what was going on. They made our new system work so efficiently by adding ducts and a new return air. The new system works like a dream, even on the hottest days it kept up. Plus it is the quietest machine I’ve ever not heard..lol. It’s so sleek we show it off to friends and family - it’s amazing the things that fascinate us when we get old!

Awesome company to work with. We just bought a home and a few weeks later the AC quit working. A buddy of mine said it was probably the motor and would be $800-1200 to replace. But since I have a home warranty he told me to go through them. So I called American Home Shield and they set me up with Airmax..

The next morning I get a call to make the appointment. They get me in the very next day. I get text updates and a 40 minute re-arrival text. Two guys come in, and tell me it's just the capacitor that needs replacing. They get me up and running in under 45 minutes.

The fees were very reasonable

Who likes sleeping in a house that's 85 degrees? Ugh, not me! From start to finish, my experience with Airmax has been nothing short of fantastic! Once I requested service, I received a call to schedule a tech. I was sent reminder emails and text messages that were greatly appreciated. These guys did a bang up job at my house in Celina, TX. New heat-pump system, new whole house dehudifier and a brand new mini-split system. It was a huge project. Very interactive team and very responsive. They do high-quality work for even very highly-customized projects like mine and were responsive to all the crazy ideas that I had when I asked them. One of the receptionist (Kim i believe) has horrible customer service....I was given an appointment time frame of 3:15 to 4:15. I recieved a call around 1pm stating that the tech was about 5 minutes away from my house. I informed the receptionist that I was about 45 minutes away at work but that i could be on my way. She got annoyed with my answer… and alleged that I was lying about my 3:15 time frame when I have a text message as proof. I finally arrived to my home and was informed by the tech that my unit was frozen solid and that it would take about 8 hours for it to thaw. The technician

I also filed a complaint against this company with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. They have opened an official investigation. I have seen a LOT of reviews similar to mine here, although I don't know if any other complaints have been filed. If you experience fraudulent behavior with an AC company, I strongly encourage you to file a complaint. It can be done on-line in a few minutes.

Seems like they are riding high on the home warranty hog while bumping those customers to the bottom of their list. They came out to address an AC issue 2 weeks ago. The repair consisted of replacing our air filter and fixing a broken voltage breaker. It's now 2 weeks later and the issue has reoccurred. Reported the issue late Thursday night but was told a technician wouldn't be available until the following Wednesday. So much for "24/7 Emergency Service." So here I sit in an 82 degree house with my newborn. I won't spit barbs claiming negligence or ineptitude, but this

Use AHS warranty company and was very lucky to get Aixmax. Ran a bit late but did call. Alex and his partner was very friendly and quit to get to work. Found the problem and quickly changed out the part. Did charge 70 for a lb. Of freon and gave alot of advise on future system upgrade but did not try hard sale tactic which I really appreciate. Check the other system and upstairs vents to make sure everything is in tact. Will use again......

They came to fix my AC, technician Mark Rose decided and concluded it is the coil in the attic by the air handler and there is some kind of blockage in the copper pipe, in the middle of the 110 degree heat in TX and with a 9 month pregnant wife they decided to show up 4 days later, replace the coil, refilled the coolant and with the warranty… company I still had to pay $1000 for citi inspections and other charges + $224 for cleaning the outside coil which was never cleaner with chemicals as plinformed. So back to the day it was replaced the crew of 2 ppl finished replacing by 12:00PM and

In the beginning of May I called my home warranty company about my AC not cooling well. They provided me with Airmax as the provider. The supervisor came out and was very friendly and knowledgeable. He diagnosed it right away. I had a bad coil in the air handler in my attic and had leaked out around half of my coolant. The home warranty company… approved the repair and I paid my service call fee plus $95 for the mastic seal that is not covered under my warranty. Airmax air conditioning and heating offers horrible customer service and awful air conditioning installation.

Airmax is an unprofessional company that has terrible customer service and their technicians are unprofessional and inappropriate. I've encountered several of their technicians do to my air conditioning unit being out and three of them were unprofessional. Their staff within the headquarters are equally poor, Jessica misleads and lies to customers. Kim would call with inaccurate information as well. Brian was hostile and verbally aggressive. We had to wait 4 days for a AC technician to come to our home. We were supposed to get a phone call 30 minutes before show up time, but didn't. The technician just shows up and I had to race home to meet him. All he did was put freon in the AC unit and didn't check for any other problems. He wanted payment and left. A couple of hours after he left, the AC situation got worse. The AC was not cooling off and temperatures inside the house reached 90 degrees. DO NOT USE AIR MAX. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE... for full story, read below...

Our home warranty company assigned Air Max to our A/C unit claim. A woman at Air Max called to schedule a diagnostic visit for our attic AC unit that was making extremely loud noises. I told her I could provide the following information so her team could be more prepared for this diagnostic test, as my wife is due to give birth on Monday!

- Recorded audio of what the unit sounded like
- Picture of the tag on the unit so they'd know exactly what make/model they'd be dealing with
- A recommendation from a

Our house had AC issues last August. Our home warranty program assigned Airmax to come out and do the work. We had a bad coil and they replaced it along with adding in freon in mid August. We used the system until temps cooled down (about 1-2 months). With temps coming back up, we turned on the AC to ensure our kids would have cool rooms at night only to find that it was blowing warm air.

We had someone come out and take a look at it and were advised that there was a leak by the coil suction line and that all our freon was gone. I called Airmax to see if they would stand by their work and
