Services
I have been counseling since 2012. I have worked in adolescent residential facilities as well as private practices. My experience spans from children in foster care to adults struggling with the issues presented in later life. I specialize in working with school-aged children with anxiety, behavioral issues, and self-esteem issues.
Anxiety can take many forms. Sometimes it looks like shortness of breath, mind going blank, and body tremors. Sometimes it looks like a lack of motivation and inability to concentrate. Sometimes it looks, on the outside, like absolutely nothing is wrong, but on the inside you are drowning in fear and uncertainty.
Children and adolescents are unique in therapy and deserve an experience that is tailored to their needs. With child & adolescent therapy, I rarely conduct a session without an art project, game, activity, or visual/auditory lesson that applies to his/her goals. I have spent years curating the best materials to help your child express his or her feelings, learn coping skills, and process difficult experiences.
Relationships usually start off with smiles, romance, and a euphoric sense of happiness. Relationships are maintained by hard work, empathy, and commitment in the face of frustration. This is easier said than done, however. When one or both partners feel unloved, unheard, or forgotten, problems can arise.
Do you feel as though you have spent your life repeating the same patterns over and over again? Or perhaps you have done your best to overcome negative childhood experiences, but whether internally or externally, they continue to impact your daily life? Are anxiety, phobias, or negative thoughts taking over your life and you are sick of it?
