Louis M. Pappamichalopoulos, from Sparta, Greece arrived in America in 1904. He shortened his name to Pappas to help simplify life in his new country. During World War I, Louis served in France as an army chef in General Pershing's "Wildcat Division". It was there that he created his own version of a Greek salad by adding potato salad to sustain the troops during hard times.

This is my "go to" for ALWAYS Great Eats. I love taking visiting company here and they are always surprised and delighted! The other night we all dined on a wide variety from Greek Salad to Sandwiches to Entrees to Sides to Dessert. Our guests were amazed and said it was their favorite place they had eaten during their visit. While the restaurant itself had only a few people eating in, there were people picking up their call-in orders all night. The staff was great making sure we had everything and that we were happy. I travel alot and always call in for take-out on my way home from the airport

To say I'm obsessed with this place is putting it mildly. If you like hummus, you will absolutely love their hummus. It is so delicious I wish I could have a whole meal of just their hummus. It's very garlicky so be prepared to kill an entire fleet of vampires afterwards because no breath mint kills the garlic aftertaste but it's so worth it. The gyro meat is delicious and tender, the tzatziki is on point. My only feedback is I wish there were more options for upcharges for extra hummus and pita when ordering on doordash or online.

Wow this location has a very rude employee. I normally go to the location in Trinity since it is close to work but I went to this one since I live in Clearwater. I ordered the food on Doordash and the drive messaged me saying he was waiting there and the food was taking forever even though there was no other customers there. I called the location and the women who answered the phone needs some serious help with her custom service. I told her that the Doordash driver said that the food was not ready. She said, "we got the order, I think it might be read, but I don't know what to tell you." Okay

Went Oct 4 for first time in two years. Very disappointed. Quality of ingredients was not as in past, food not well prepared. Greek salad 90% iceberg. Ogther ingredients in chunks the size of half of my palm. Gyro wrapped so tight it resemble a toilet paper roll. Will never go back. A shame as was in past a place I frequented at least 2-3 times per month. Another victim of Covid, I guess.

I come to you hungry and upset. We were so disappointed with the HUGE pieces of veggies for our salad. Literal the whole onion was throw in. Nothing was cut up for bite size eating, icky shredded lettuce and the dressing was straight oil despite asking about it before leaving with my order. We had to literally cut up and make our salad to eat. The falafel was so dry and no pickled veggies on my falafel sandwich. The Arabs make falafel sandwiches better I guess. Just such a disappointment.

This place was a surprise for me. We kinda thought it would be just a average place to eat. It turned out to have top notch food. Everything we had was fresh and well prepared. We could tell they take pride in there food. It's a order at the counter type place but they have high standers in the food. We very much enjoyed every last bite. Friendly service and clean place. Very happy customers. We will be back for sure.

My friend and I come here once a week. We LOVE this restaurant. The staff know us & greet us when we arrive. Their portions are huge & the food is always so fresh & delicious. I can’t say enough good things about the amazing service/staff, the incredible food & the atmosphere. They treat us like family- this will continue to be a weekly tradition.
