The American Optometric Association (AOA) recommends children have their eyes examined at 6 months old, three years old, at the start of school, and every two years until age 18.
Vision develops rapidly starting at birth and is tied to many developmental milestones, such as hand-eye coordination and reading. In the long term, your child's vision will impact how they learn, play, and interact with the world. While there may be some obvious signs of visual disorders, many vision problems can only be detected by a qualified eye doctor during a comprehensive eye exam.

Today was the first time I had been in to see an eye doctor in a few years and my husband hasn’t had his eyes checked since elementary. This place was bright, clean and taking COVID protocol seriously. Let me tell you, every single person in here was excellent. Everyone was genuine and so easy to get along with. As a patient, I appreciate honesty and authentic kindness. Leslie was awesome during my exam, Dr. Pycraft was professional and not cocky. He has a wonderful way of sharing his knowledge without being condescending. Mandy was also great in the glasses room, she found something to talk

The staff here has always been amazing. Dr. Pycraft is always honest, straight forward, and shows you exactly what your diagnosis is and what you need to do to improve your quality of vision. I will continue to come here and recommend anyone to stop in and give them a try. You'll rate them five stars as well.
