Auto Centric, one of the five finalists for "Top Shop In The USA" two years in a row, is owned and operated by Tom Ham, who first began working on cars in an Amoco Service Station in 1969. Tom's first job was pumping gas, then changing oil, and eventually, he climbed the ladder to become a mechanic and then to shop owner.

I've experienced excellent service at Auto Centric. Regardless if major (timing/water pump) or a simple oil change, I've had no issues scheduling or with service performed. They are always fast, fair, accurate and complete. I service my Honda (285K miles), Acura (135K miles), and Subaru (299K miles) cars here for the last 5 years. At this point I would not take them anywhere else. I've never had a misdiagnosis or had to return the car because there was an improper repair.

Jeff was extremely friendly and well-spoken from the time I called him until I picked up my car. I did not have a ride back to my apartment while my car was in the shop, and Dan was nice enough to give me a ride back. I have never been offered a ride when dropping my car off at any other shop so I was completely blown away. Highly recommend.

Auto Centric was phenomenal to work with! Customer service was excellent and they seemed extremely honest. It was a thorough check by multiple mechanics. I also appreciate the paperless receipt so I now have an earth-friendly copy for my records of the work they did. I will be back for all of my auto needs.

Auto Centric is a very clean operation and cares about what their customers think about the business. They have excellent customer service. However, they were unable to find the problem with my vehicle at the time. Which was repaired for less then what they charged me for the inspection on my vehicle. They also broke my engine cover but offer to pay to replace it. Although Tom's mechanics could not help me at all. Tom was very nice to work with.

These guys do an amazing job every time. A little pricey compared to some but not outrageously over priced like a lot of other places but the work they do is well worth it. Very friendly, extremely helpful and very thorough with their inspections which shows by how informative they are with your estimate on repairs. Needless to say I will not take my vehicles anywhere else.

I got excellent service at Auto Centric. They saw me for an estimate the same day I called them. Then they went ahead and started the repairs the very same day. They even offered to give me a ride home while they were doing the work. I was back on the road, repairs finished, by 5:00 that afternoon. Got a ton of work done on my Dodge Nitro and they did it very quick and very well. After my repairs I realized there was a hard spot in my new brake pad that was causing kind of a squeaking and I called them a few days later, they had me bring it back in they fixed it in a half an hour. Great customer service! Really enjoyed Greg and Mike.

VERY HONEST AND ACCOMMODATING. EXCELLENT WORK. I do most of my own car maintenance, and am very particular about who works on my vehicles. I needed the timing belt replaced on a 1997 Lexus, and thought the job was a bit beyond my capabilities. I thoroughly researched capable shops in my area, and Auto Centric really stood out as the best. They… did not disappoint. Their communication was excellent and their prices were very fair. They did EXACTLY what they said they would do for LESS than the quoted price. They were WELL worth the 100 mile trek from Saginaw. Truly outstanding!
