Services
Tustin Care Animal Hospital was founded in 2017 by Dr. Deena Leong because she longed for an entire veterinary hospital to embrace the benefits of integrative medicine. She built it to be modern, spacious and include the best equipment and technology, but to be run with the heart of a neighborhood veterinary clinic.
Get everything you need to ensure your new family member is healthy and protected at an affordable price. Acupuncture is a ancient healing method that stimulates the body's own nerves and chemicals to provide pain management, manage disease, and wake up weakened nerve function. Some of the more common uses are pain relief, arthritis, seizures/epilepsy, paralysis due to disk disease.
She recently opened up her own practice and the prior clinic she was at wouldn't tell me where she went. I looked everywhere online to find her; unfortunately I moved and I hadn't received the letter she mailed me notifying me of her new location. Thank gosh I found her. Leong has been my preferred vet for the past several years, and I'm excited for her to have her own practice now!
There is a Carl's Jr. on the corner and we are behind the Carl's Jr. in the Tustin Freeway Center. Continue down El Camino Real until Newport Avenue. Turn left onto Newport Avenue and get into the left lane. As soon as you drive through the underpass of the 5 freeway, you will see the Carl's Jr. on the right, we are behind Carl's Jr.
These rescue groups use foster families which help to acclimate rescue animals to a home environment. They get individual attention and veterinary care. Foster families get to know each animals personalities and habits. Often times they help to train rescue animals too, so your new family member has a smooth transition.

Dr. T is the best! She has been working with my cat for over a year. He’s older and has developed various illnesses. She’s always looking for a way to help him without going to the extreme. She’s very caring and loving to him. I’ve really come to depend on her advice and care. I highly recommend!

We have been taking our schnoodle Noah here for years. Dr Taketani is an amazing vet. She is conservative and only recommends testing if absolutely needed. She is very responsive and truly cares about our dog. We take Noah to Jason monthly who brushes his teeth and oversees his dental needs. We’ve been coming to Jason even longer as he worked with our other vet until it was closed down. He’s very good with our dog. Freddy is a great technician. Can I also mention the office staff…very professional and efficient! We love Stephanie! Overall we give this office a 10+!

Dr. Leong is so caring, knowledgeable and wonderful with our pets! She also has a "pet hotel" for your animals when they need to be boarded. Her staff is wonderful, as well! Highly recommend her for care and for peace of mind when they have to be boarded, away from you. Thank you Dr. Leong and staff!

Dr. Leong and Dr. Takatani are both wonderful and the staff is so friendly and helpful! The vets address the underlying issues and not just the symptoms, which actually means fewer vet visits. They all work really hard to make your pet's visit as low stress as possible, which is particularly important since we can't go in with our pets due to covid-19 restrictions. I must pass a good 15 different vets to get them (I live 2 cities away), but they are worth it.
