Services
My love for sewing began as a child. My mother taught me to sew when I was around 10 years old and I never looked back. I started by making some of my own clothes and continued with that into my early twenties. I even made my own wedding gown which was adorned with over 10,000 sequins and beads that my mother and I painstakingly hand sewed over the lace.
My quilts come standard with sashing rather than just sewing each shirt panel consecutively. This separates and enhances each T-shirt for a much more pleasing look. All shirt panels are stabilized with a high quality, heat applied interfacing to prevent the shirt panels from stretching while being sewed.
All you have to do is send us your t-shirts and anything else you want included in the quilt such as uniform plaid specific to your school, banners and patches. Layout pattern will vary depending on number of shirts included. All labor and above materials are included in our basic quilt pricing with the minimum number of shirts specified.
Either way, once I am ready to begin your quilt I will contact you to discuss colors, size, design and layout. Let me know when you have mailed your shirts and I will let you to let you know that they have arrived safely. I will keep you posted on the progress of your quilts throughout the process with pictures and such.
Please, Please, Please - It is very important to square up your backing. If you are unsure how to square up or peice your backing, here are some great videos to show you how:. I will notify you when your quilt is ready and will send your package based on its true size and most cost effective shipping rates through UPS or USPS.

Just received 2 quilts I had made for my son’s graduation. They turned out beautifully! Monica was patient, knowledgeable, accommodating and friendly. Thank you to her and her crew!! My son loves them!! I had to blink back some tears and gulp down some emotions as we revisited memories those T-shirt squares brought back. Treasures!!

The quilt I just picked up is a superb piece of craftsmanship that my daughter will cherish forever. When I visited TMQ's storefront in Spring, I simply handed over a bag of t-shirts that my daughter saved from college, and, after asking me a couple of questions about colors and options, the quilters took it from there. A few weeks later (I was not in a rush), I picked up the quilt and was blown away by the quality and cleverness of the finished product. Thanks, TMQ! You are true artisans!

I received my quilt a couple of days ago and it surpassed all of my expectations. Years of saving tshirts was completely worthwhile. I plan on showing the finished products to some of the other moms. I have no doubt they will be reaching out. Monica went above and beyond after the tshirts were "lost" at the post office. She really helped make a beautiful piece of art. Thank you so much

Monica and her staff did such a good job putting together my souvenir T-shirt quilt. I left it up to her to choose the background colors and fabrics and it is just gorgeous, and soft and comfortable. The way she put the T-shirts together is so attractive. I can’t say enough good things about the shop and the people who work there.
