I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker in private practice in Dayton, OH, and hold Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Social Work from The Ohio State University. Over the past several years, I have worked with clients experiencing a wide array of psychological disorders including depression, anxiety, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), anger management, problems in peer relationships, and family conflict.
Individual therapy provides the opportunity for one to gain support and experience growth as she/he works through challenging and stressful situations and/or copes with various clinical disorders i.e. Our holistic approach values various dimensions of the individual including the mental, emotional, physical, spiritual, and relational components and allows the individual the space for healing and self-discovery.
Essential Reflections Counseling and Consultation staff provide private, confidential consultation services to individuals, agencies, organizations, and other community stakeholders. For Social Workers/Therapists: consultation on clinical cases, ethical dilemmas, personal issues.
Individual training supervision is offered to Licensed Social Workers (LSWs) who require oversight towards their independent licensure as required by The State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board.

I have worked with Andrea for over 2 years now and she has really changed my life. Having someone so understanding and welcoming to talk to, really left me feeling empowered and special. Andrea is an absolutely wonderful therapist and I would recommend her to anyone. She listens and empathizes expertly and helped me solve my problems on my own by asking exactly the right questions at all the right times. I only stopped being a client of hers because I moved out of state and my insurance changed. I have no complaints.
