Hurricane Safe Shutters

I needed the accordion shutters for my lanai sliders removed and replaced for re-decking. The previous owner of the house passed his paperwork along to me, so I dug out the receipt from HSS and gave them a call. The tech who arrived explained the process, said the shutters were in great shape and can be reused, but gave me the option of either using the current tracks (to save a few bucks) or replacing them with new, low-profile tracks that would compliment the new decking. I called Hurricane Safe Shutters to get an estimate for how much Bahama Shutters would cost for 4 windows. I spoke with Michelle who was very nice and knowledgeable. Michelle called me back with a price. She said it would be 8-10 weeks for the shutters to be made. DJ came out to do the final measuring and confirm our estimate. He answered all of my questions. The shutters were ready and an appointment was set up for installation.
Kevin came out and installed all of the shutters and did a great job! He was polite and knowledgeable. We are very happy with our Bahama Shutters from Hurricane Safe

The whole team is fabulous, DJ their sales representative , to Steve who comes to do measurements, Michelle in their office a delight to speak and then their install team Dan & Wayne. Every thing was done professionally and cleaned up like they weren't even here.

I would not recommend this company. In 2015 I purchased clear shutters from this company. The shutters are hard to get on because the opening on the bottom where the screw goes does not come up far enough which forces the screw to be in a downward position and will not allow the screw to sit flush. I called the company and asked them if they could fix them but they said they would come out only for and additional $89 per charge. When I stated that I did not feel that I should have to pay the charge the woman on the phone rudely stated that I would have to pay and then hung up.

They came up with a much better solution for a unique lanai area than their competitor. Pricing competitive. Came out and Double checked measurements and install plan before moving forward. We got a combination of panels and fabric. Installers were professional and did great job. Cleaned up after and explained how to install. Very professional from sales call to install.

I recently had roll-down shutters installed to my lanai. The installation was perfect. Ryan and Steve are excellent installers. The office staff were responsive to deal with my association here in Crown Colony. I will recommend the company to my neighbors. Nice work!

I had a great experience with Hurricane Safe Shutters. I recently installed Bahama shutters on my front windows. The installation was smooth, the installers did a good job and cleaned up after the job was finished. I am a contractor up North and I know a good company when I see one. Thanks crew!

I had them install accordion shutter and electrical roll down shutters throughout my house. Their pricing was, not the lowest, but very competitive.
The quality of their work far surpassed the other companies that bid. The work was done on time. The installers worked fast and picked up after themselves.
I am very pleased with their work. I would use them again, "in a heart beat".

Three guys came out and installed my accordion shutters. Very professional, very efficient and very neat and orderly. Everything looks great, works smoothly and provides my family and I a level of security against storms should one happen. Had a combo of accordion and power roll downs installed and have been very happy with them. They also clean up after themselves and were very reasonable on price. Have recommended many times.
