It is a waste of effort, time, and tape. It offers little strength to the glass and NO protection against flying debris. After the storm passes you will spend many a hot summer afternoon trying to scrape the old, baked-on tape off your windows (assuming they weren't shattered). Once a Hurricane Warning has been issued you would be better off spending your time putting up shutters over doors and windows.

I was very impressed with the customer service I received from this company starting with Andrea in the scheduling department. She was very responsive and pleasant on the phone. When David and Bradley arrived for the repair work I needed to have done on my roll up shutter I could tell they were doing there best to repair the shutter at the minimal cost to me. They also were very professional and knowledgeable.

Had a shutter emergency, wouldn’t open ! Friends coming over and no way to access patio. Called around nobody could get here for over a week, called High Wind shutters and told my dilemma and Andrea made a call to Greg who fit me in between jobs to get me open and save the day. Already booked for the day he went the extra to help and was able to diagnose problem and will be back to fix shutter properly when he gets part. Can’t thank them enough! They are our forever shutter guys!

Referred to High Winds by two of our neighbors that used them. Had obstacles with Logan in getting quotes. Overlooked that. Pointed out to her that we wanted the box up to the eves, walked her down to say like you did with this house. Received quote, contracted. They installed 4 of 7 windows yesterday and only put one of the 4 to the eves. Spoke with Logan and her solution is they can bring the other three windows to the top but we have to pay for the added 6 to 12 inches of track on each window. It was suppose to be quoted that way. Why would you do 4 windows to the top and 3 different. Also,

We contracted with High Wind Shutters to replace all fixed windows in our condo with hurricane impact resistant windows and to install electric roll down shutters on the lanai. The windows were replaced last fall and the crew was great. They did a great job, were neat, professional and easy to work with. Due to some building repairs they had to wait until this summer to install the roll down shutters. They were very cooperative in having to delay the installation. The installation was completed and the shutters work and look great. We are very pleased with High Wind and would highly recommend them

We've been in the market for Accordian Shutters for quite some time. We made an appt and a representative of the company showed up. He was very knowledgeable and pleasant. However, there was zero follow through. When we decided to go with them for the shutters, I requested an updated quote as we made some changes. He never sent it. I called the following day. He told me he would send it again right away. Never came through. I called the next day and he stated that he had some family issues and forgot to send it. He would do it by the end of the day. Again, never sent it. We decided to go with another

We purchased a condo that had a hurricane shutter between the lanai and the living room.
We moved here November 3. It has not worked since we moved in.
We were told when we purchased this condo that the shutter was guaranteed for ten years.
I have made two phone calls, one on Nov.14. an one today, to get the shutter repaired. I was told that they would call me when they have someone in the area. They would not give me a date.
I told them that we feel unsafe and vulnerable as anyone passing by can look directly into our living room.
