I couldn't be happier that I discovered this Utube channel. I have been a florist 38 years and I'm still employed as a florist today. I have picked up so many techniques and tricks of the trade in the floral industry from watching the videos! I have added some of the techniques I've picked up from watching the videos and have amazed my boss and coworkers how the techniques have improved my design skills.

I graduated from FDI in early 2020 in Basic and Advanced floral design and went on to receive my CFD with the American Institute of Floral Designers! Due to COVID travel restrictions in early 2020 I had to take the program online. That being said the online program is taken extremely seriously. Often times I feel like online programs offered from various institutes can be overlooked or treated as not as serious but that is not the case with FDI. With the required pictures and flower presentation requests, the teachers are still just as involved, leaving constructive criticism and are not afraid

If you want to learn about floristry there is no better place to go. The Teachers are extremely knowledgeable and talented. Whether online or face to face in class you are supported and motivated to best you can be. The followers of FDI are an amazing group of flower lovers that also encourage and share their knowledge. Definitely value for your dollar, highly recommend 🌷

The Floral Design Institute offers an awesome on-line program as well as in-person training and lots of free tutorials on YouTube and their Weds., 3:00 pm PST live, interactive videos. I've learned so much! Leanne Kessler, owner, is an awesome and inspirational teacher; she is so positive and encouraging! In fact, all of the instructors are! I would highly recommend FDI to anyone who is looking for in-depth floral design instruction.

I stumbled across FDI (Floral Design Institute) during 2021 as new budding florist in South Africa and religiously consume their content when ever it is released. I follow them on all platforms and will be joining the Tulip Club. Their informative, inspirational and well worth every single minute I have spent viewing their content online. Can wait to consume loads more this year and to join the Tulip Club. Thank you Leanne, David and rest of the team. As a new florist that don't get the opportunity to work with as many florist due to COVID-19 i just love the content.
