Michelle has always had a passion for nature, color, and design. Shortly after graduating floral design school in Portland, Oregon she founded Embie Floral Design. Her mission in creating her own floral design studio is to make florals more accessible to anyone. You don't have to know everything about flowers to enjoy them.
She believes the best designs are those that speak true to her clients needs and overall personality. As a studio florist, she works mainly with smaller events, special orders, and takes a limited amount of weddings each year. Michelle loves to continuously diversify her design style.

Embie Floral Design came to the rescue when my original florist had to cancel TWO DAYS before the wedding! Despite being so last minute, Michelle was calm, accommodating, and did not make me feel like an inconvenience. She took the time to listen and ask all the right questions to really understand my vision. After only one phone conversation, I felt like I had been working with Michelle the whole time.
I was absolutely blown away by the creativity, attention to detail, and cohesive of all the pieces. She nailed every aspect and exceeded all expectations! It was truly a dream to see my vision

Michelle and her team at Embie Floral Design did an amazing job providing florals for our non-profit fundraising event. Every single one of the floral arrangements was absolutely perfect and looked stunning in our photos. Embie Floral Design blew all our guests away! On top of all that, Michelle was incredibly easy to work with and flexible with our requests, budget, and schedules. She handled our requests and delivered above and beyond what we were expecting.
