Received several referrals from an online women's business group raving about them. Turns out they don't actually deliver to the greater Portland area like their website says. I had used their online ordering system to have flowers delivered to my partner for our anniversary. Very lengthy process with repetitive questions. Payment was processed. Immediately got notified via email from the owner Leah that said they don't deliver to Portland, would refund my money and gave a recommendation of who else to order flowers from. Wendy at Stem did an incredible job creating stunning floral arrangements for our wedding! She was very sweet and personal, and helped to make our wedding an absolutely amazing experience! I decided to reach out, after reading all the positive comments, to ask about flowers for my upcoming elopement. She was very nice at first and asked me to send essentially a mood board of what I was looking for. Then she completely stopped responding. Completely unprofessional. I understand weddings are starting to be more frequent this time of the year however it’s been almost 2 weeks and I still haven’t heard back. Save your time and look elsewhere!

Wow! This place is a lifesaver. I was unlucky enough to be screwed by FTD flowers who took my order AND money loooong in advance and then cancelled my order on Valentine's Day without any notice. I called Stem in a panic and spoke with Leah who was very sweet. She insisted on providing delivery rather than pickup to my life easier (I was quite stressed when I rang her). Will surely patronize Stem Floral Design again. Thank you so much for the help.

Hosting an event across the country from your office can make planning difficult and picky a florist extra risky. The owner Wendy put my fears to rest immediately. Within a day of reaching out, she sent me examples of what she'd done in the past, as well as photos of centerpieces she'd recommend for our West Coast Big Bash. Then I received a call to get the entire big picture of the event. Her team then followed up with quotes on what I liked, and even sent some alternative suggestions that could accommodated our budget even better. So great! I have bought 4 to 5 dozen bouquets in my life for various reasons. I asked for/ordered a bouquet of pink roses two weeks in advance, as many as $25 would buy. The arrangement of roses with some smaller greenery, designed by Leah, was the BEST LOOKING I have ever purchased in my life. A 5 1/2 star bouquet!! All done on time, with a beautiful ribbon on the package. Just spectacular!

Using stem floral for my wedding was a great decision but having Krissy White design my floral and walk me through every step was the best decision I ever made. I'm not good with design or words and Krissy was able to take what was inside of my head and apply it to real life. She created such an amazing Bohemian look for my wedding with the Altarpiece, the bouquets, the boutonnieres, and my floral crown. She worked with me on cost and timing estimations. I was recommended to stem floral, and I was so impressed with the staff and how quickly they were able to get my arrangements ready for my wedding (seeing as I only gave them two weeks). They did an amazing job with seeing my vision and working with my budget! I will be going back to stem floral for all of my flower needs. Highly recommend.
