Twice per week Brenda faithfully starts by making sure that I am physically ok then she inspects the condo to make sure that all is safe before attending to her specific duties. For almost a year, my family went back and forth on the decision to get an aide for my mom. I just wanted to take a moment to recognize Suburban Home Care in Downers Grove, IL for being very easy to work with. They have been very accommodating to the many shift and schedule changes we have had along the way over the last three months due to my mom’s changing medical needs. It is a huge peace of mind to know that my mom is in good hands when her caregiver Karen is there with her. She knows what needs to be done, is friendly and hard working. I would recommend this agency to anyone in the area.

Worst company to work for. When they do not have employees to fill the schedule, they tell the client the employee didn't show up. Then the client takes it out on the employee. They pay pennies and send you hours from your house. They pay 10 or 12 dollars an hour but charge clients 25 to 30. They don't answer your phone calls but when they call your expected to answer. Good luck with this company.

I have worked for this company for quite a few years. Suburban is a excellent company to work for Tina, is an awesome supervisor Tina not only takes care of the clients but, she also takes care of her staff as well. I have never had a problem. Suburban has put fourth all efforts to make sure myself and their clients are satisfied. Suburban is a very professional company that cares about their clients and their staff. I would recommend them to anyone that was in need for health care for their love ones.

I’ve been involved with this small owned home care business for a few months now and I can honestly say that these people care deeply about both their clients and caregivers. The Office Manager Tina is very professional and accommodating to everyone’s needs and is very on top of every detail. The feel of the company is very welcoming and I’d personally recommend their services.

When my grandfather was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, it was very hard to find a caretaker for him that would help him with his needs. I live across the country, so I am unable to. One of my good friends suggested Suburban Home Care. When I called, I spoke to Tina. She was incredibly sweet and helpful! She understood I wanted the best for my grandfather and immediately started looking for caregivers that fit what we were looking for. I can't thank her and this company enough. It has been a year since then and my papa is happy and healthy!

Where do I begin? Diamond the coordinator on call, mixed up my mom's caretaker time and the CNA was real late! She seemed so "rushed" and un empathetic when I spoke to her as well. You would think that when you work in the services field, you would know how to greet and talk with a smile. On top of mistake, I received No apology, just that someone would be there to cover my mom's caretaker! Another care taker came 40 minutes too late....She did not handle the situation properly at all!

Diamond the client care coordinator is a lot of help and found the perfect caregiver for my mom! The caregiver comes in a few hours three times a week. This caregiver is always willing to do stuff, or to find stuff to keep her busy. She's very nice, personable, and good at showing up when I specifically need her. I had a doctor's appointment yesterday, and she had to come a lot earlier than usual but she was fine with that. She had to stay a little late because I wasn't back on time, and she's very agreeable. She feeds my mom, helps her get a bath or shower, talks to her, and keeps her company

I can’t say enough good things about my family’s experience with Suburban Home Care. The staff and Care Givers were angels to my 90 yo father struggling with Dementia. Dad enjoyed spending time with his caregivers and they truly made great efforts to “know” Dad and talk about his life and things he enjoyed. Everyone that worked with me and my dad we’re exemplary!
