Whether your loved one is recovering from an illness or fall, requires full-time in home care, or needs extra attention in their senior living community, we have a program specially designed to provide the care and attention needed. Balanced Home Care has been providing high quality, non-skilled care for seniors both in their private residences as well as some of Michigan's most luxurious senior living communities since 2009.
Our service schedules are flexible and we are non-contractual, so you don't have to commit to a fixed length of time. Whether your loved one needs additional care after a fall or illness, or requires a full-time caregiver to help maintain their independence, we will work with you to develop a program of care you will feel good about.
Balanced Home Care has a successful system for partnering with Senior Communities to provide support services for residents. Balanced Home Care currently serves multiple Independent Living Communities in several counties of Southeastern Michigan. Balanced Home Care has been caring for my mother for over two years. While no company is perfect, we’ve been very pleased over all with the staff in her community. It’s been a challenging few years but they’ve always had caring staff available 24 hours a day. Their corporate office is very responsive to (Justin is great) addressing any issues. We moved here from another facility (where I never felt my mother was well cared for) and been very confident in her care. I highly recommend the Balanced team.

Totally unprofessional. Act caring when family is around. They sit on their phones and most don’t care about the people they are there to help. We moved my Dad out of Oakmont Northville for his safety. If you have a family member in an independent living place, get a camera. You will see what really takes place.

The service has gone completely downhill in recent years and it was never great to begin with. I’m ready to move my mother to a new facility and plan to start looking this coming week.
I have the full package for my mother and what it gets me is the facility’s receptionist putting my mother to bed because when my mother requested help, the aid never answered. Why? The aid was afraid of my mom’s cat. Apparently the facility only has one aid at night.
It wasn’t the receptionist job but out of the kindness of her heart, she helped my mom get to bed. There are other instances when this occurred

I would NOT recommend Balanced Home Care. My parents were living at Oakmont Livonia, although I would recommend Oakmont Livonia for your parent(s), I would not move them there if they need Balanced Home Care. We were paying for the highest level of care for my mother and she was not being taken care of, at times even neglected. Our concerns were addressed in the beginning and things got better. When we realized my mother was sitting in dirty depends and missing meals again, we called Corporate to voice our concerns and our phone calls we’re not returned. Very sad in so many ways.

We used Balanced Home Care to assist with our mom while she was also in hospice in her home. The entire staff was loving and attentive to my mom and I really appreciated the care they provided us while we couldn't always be with mom. While we worked the caregivers attended to mom's needs. Highly recommend their team!

Balanced Home Care at Oakmont Livonia has changed our lives. After our father passed away we moved our Mom to Oakmont. She was able to take her own meds and care for herself. But when her memory began to fail my sisters and I were calling daily to remind her to take her meds three times a day. She started telling us she had taken them and had not. When Balanced Home Care took over our lives changed. First of all the ladies are amazing. My Mom loves each and every one of them and they love her. It was quite important that Mom got her meds in a timely fashion and her life changed too...for the better

In home care...when you can get it. Mom has them contracted for transportation to and from meals, baths, help getting dressed, oxygen maintenance. ...which that charge for everything. But staff doesn't know how to switch oxygen from the main to travel tank. But it's $300 a month for this service. They take their time returning her to her room after meals. Seem to have turnover of staff and staff is not well trained. Would not recommend.
