Eugenia Prokopets, DDS, MSD, is one of the few periodontists in the US who have completed specialized training in dental microsurgery and is the only periodontist in the states of Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia who performs periodontal microsurgery. Google will only let me give five stars, but Dr. Prokopets and her team deserve at least 10. My entire experience was easy and stress-free. I normally have terrible anxiety with dental procedures, but this team made me feel so comfortable. Dr. Prokopets treats everyone — patients and staff — with compassion and respect. You simply won't find another provider who is as knowledgeable and genuinely caring as she is.

5 out of 5, would highly recommend. I initially visited Dr. Prokopets for a gum graft consult and quickly realized she’s the best in the game. Between the unmatched customer service from office staff to the personal follow-ups post-surgery, I’m so glad I worked with Dr. P! What I once considered a scary surgery, Dr. P made painless and recovery a breeze - not kidding. A true testament to the quality of her work and continued commitment to her craft. It is imperative that I share what a wonderful experience from consult to post surgery that I had with Dr. Prokopets and team this July. I spent two hours during my initial consult, prior to scheduling the surgery, because both Dr. Prokopets and Ms. Ona took the time to make sure to answer the long list of questions I had, and that I understood exactly what the soft tissue gum graft procedure on my bottom two front teeth would entail. I have only seen Dr. Prokopets for an evaluation. It was by far the most thorough oral exam I've ever had.
She diagnosed my gum problem and said she'd discuss it with my dentist, WHICH I LOVE. This means I don't have to parrot her diagnosis to my dentist, and then repeat back what he says in response. I don't have to play telephone. Those two can talk dentist-speak.
Beyond that, she was very precise in telling me what to do and patiently took my questions. So far, so great!

Someone told me not long ago, "You can't just be great, you gotta let people know you're great". And that is so true! Dr. Prokopets is SO great at what she does, people need to know!
From the moment I walked into the office, I was treated with the utmost care! I haven't had this experience in ANY practice! I knew Dr. P was a pro at what she does from watching her procedures on Instagram but my crown lengthening procedure has exceeded my expectations.
Her work is exquisite and you can see it in the results of the procedure, her bed side manner, and the level of details displayed in every room

Dr. Prokopets is a superb dentist, who prepared me for a dental implant. She has excellent technique, including the capacity to do microsurgery using a scope, which she used on me. She has the latest equipment, and is trained to get the most out of it. She is entirely patient oriented. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Prokopets is awesome! She performed oral surgery on my dangerously receding gum line in August of 2020. I felt so comfortable and secure in her care. She and her staff are incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and professional. The office atmosphere is extremely welcoming and relaxing. They are going above and beyond to take every necessary precaution during the pandemic and I always felt safe and well cared for.
